Obama gets a lift from the King

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/07/22/art.obama.abdullah.jpg caption="Sen. Obama met with Jordan's King Abdullah Tuesday."]
(CNN) - Running for president, Obama is used to getting driven around - but perhaps not by royalty.

Following his meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, the Democratic presidential nominee got a lift to the airport from none other than the monarch himself, in a royal Mercedes.

The airport drive followed a meeting between the two men during which the king reportedly repeated his long-standing view that a Palestinian state is vital to ending the Arab-Israeli conflict.

So what?! John McCain will be driving his own Cadillac in Florida after November. He'll be first in line for the Early Bird Special. So there!

Oh lord we will hear all those PUMA idiots now. "he thinks he is so much better " " he is an empty suit". What a bunch of American retards. There fecal smear of a web site should be reason enough for anyone to stay away from that group. I am happy to see the warm and gracious welcome our next president is receiving. I wish Mc Cain and other could at least at some point acknowledge the mans accomplishments he has on many occasions said very positive and great things of John Mc Cain but all you hear from his camp is negative attack after negative attack!

Obama seems to have an incredible ability to connect with whomever he meets. perhaps that's why he advocates a direct style of "talking to your enemies" – because he has the ability to effectively communicate and conduct negotiations with both friends and enemies.

Lol! I can just see the McBush backers standing there with their arms crossed, staring jealous daggers at Obama and the King.

"Hmmph! Who does he think he is? Acting all high and mighty! He must think he is going to be President!"

    Jealous much?

What does this have to do with anything?

Obama is a man who can be respected by other world leaders. He may be able to quickly fix the tarnished reputation we have gotten over the last 8 years by "the gang that couldn't shoot straight".

This will go a long way towards real negotiations and maybe even (can we imagine?) peace in this world.

It seems International diplomacy is well in hand and 7years late in grand style. I don't recall any republican or democrat ever getting this treatment from a country leader......EVER.

Maybe the foreign countries know something that we Americans need to learn. But I forgot, there's 28% of the American Public who still believe the current president is doing a good job, that Sen. McCain is the best candidate for the job of POTUS and the economy is just fine the way it is.

    God help us please.

Somehow I don't think that McCain and his camp is going to like this story very much! McCain got every bit of what he asked for!

Seems to me that world leaders in general would very much like to see Obama not only become president, but also be successful in foreign policy endevours. I think that dynamic would be very helpful not just to Obama, but to the entire country as well.

Future American president fit to hang out with a king. McSame not fit to hang out with my dog. Obama will put the office of president right where it is supposed to be and that is in a place of leadership.
If McSame gets voted in we will stay at the back of the bus as we are with Bush. Please people give this man a chance to help get us back on track.

CNN...you're 2 for 2 this afternoon on Ticker propaganda. First the negative spin on the McCain townhall. Now this complete piece of pro-Obama propaganda. Notice, once again, the majority of the comments that get past your censors is pro-Obama or anti-McCain.

    Keep up the good work.

You gotta love this stuff if you are an Obama fan like me. If you aren't well... tough. You all have to remember that America is really PO'ed at y'all Republicans for these last eight years. Next time pick a smart guy with charisma and then you can cheer along like the Democrats.

Being in the military for 15 years, I would follow this man WITH confidence.
McCain would lead many to there grave and only care about the bottom line. Life is more than victory claims and I'm tuffer than you.

Fight for this country, not for a mad man.
