Campaign buttons show Obama with Larry Craig

(CNN) - Barack Obama likes to stress his willingness to work across party lines, but Republican Sen. Larry Craig probably isn't the Illinois senator's top choice when it comes to showcasing his bipartisan credentials.

But campaign buttons mistakenly featuring those two politicians surfaced over the weekend under the Obama campaign's motto "Change You Can Believe In," according to CNN Idaho affiliate KPVI.

The buttons, created by an Ohio-based company called Tigereye Design, was supposed to feature Obama alongside the Democratic Senate candidate in Idaho, Larry LaRocco. A retired editor for the Lewiston Tribune noticed the mistaken buttons and printed them in Sunday's edition.

LaRocco's campaign says the buttons weren't ordered by them, but rather a commercial firm that sells campaign memorabilia.

Craig, who was arrested last year for allegedly soliciting sex in an airport men's room, is not running for reelection.

Apparently, this company either doesn't know of Larry Craig or it has nefarious things up its cranial quarter. Isn't is interesting that nothing seems to work concerning efforts to deride Obama by what merits any? Now, putting Craig with Obama would suggest some kind of alliance with Obama's philosophy and that of homosexualism but this, like all of these efforts, will not fly either!

    Hey Independent Voter
How more obvious can you be? You obviously have your own agenda for hating Obama but you are so pathetic as to blame your insignificant rantings on his inexperience...... The real facts compared to your delusions are that Barack Obama is a very well-educated African American male who has worked his way through one of the top schools in the country, a successful lawyer and senator. He deserves to be in the position that he is in. NO amount of idiotic, stupidity or hate can ever change the fact that Obama is the next President of the United States!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get over your hatred and lies!

Freida, NYC – You are absolutely RIGHT.

It better be Hillary's picture as VP on that button or he can kiss many of us 18 million GOODBYE!

Latest USA Today/Gallup poll released this afternoon:

    McCain – 49%
    Obama – 45%

    Obama needs Hillary's voters....

Mistake, yeah right. And I have some lakefront properties in the Gobi Desert for sale! I'd like to know the name of the Ohio company so that I can be sure not to use them for any promotional items. It wouldn't be McCain Promotional Enterprises, Inc. would it?

    Obama '08!

You liberals need to stop making fun of Larry Craig. The man is not gay. You make fun of the "wide stance" as if you've never had to use the restroom before.

Of course, Lisa, Linda, Texas Trail Toast are out there spewing their usual nonsensical statements.

It was a mistake, let's leave it at that, shall we? I admit it's a bit suspicious, though...

He better put Hillary's photo next to him in that buttom, else he will not win in Nov. I know the Obamanuts will start their nasty, derogatory and mean-spirited comments; simply because we, Hillary supporters will not support their candidate unless she is on the ticket.

Otherwise known as "blackmail". Keep your vote, Obama doesn't want or need your vote, keep holding it hostage until Hillary runs in 2016. How do you even know that Hillary wants the VP slot? She would have more power as a Supreme Court Justice, or Attorney General. Besides, Obama won't select her as VP, too untrustworthy, like her followers.

I really miss the humor so many of you see here. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a "dirty trick" a la Tricky Dick Nixon.

You conspiracy theorists sound like Ross Perot who cited "Dirty Republican Trickers". Suggest that you look under your bed and in your closet before turning in at night. LOL

The old conservative right is getting very old. That generation is dying. After all, the 60's generation is on Social Security. The Leave It To Beaver" crowd is going away. Barack Obama is going to win regardless if for nothing more than the lack of Republicans. World War Two vets are dying at thousands per day. The number grows every day. Get ready for an Obama administration where the United States Constitution is going to means something once again. Hooray.

Sounds like Nixon's ghost is hard at work, or maybe Rove was hard at work in Ohio. Really, how stupid to the Republicans think the American public is? Not stupid enough to fall for this garbage. Must be a slow news day at CNN.

Oh, come on, fellow Obama supporters. Sometimes mistakes are just that: mistakes. If there is actual proof that this is a dirty trick, find it. Or else, you just look paranoid.

Personally, I think this is funny. But I think I'll wear the REAL Obama button that came in the mail today.

Hey, I support Obama completely, and I think this is freaking hillarious. You gotta know those buttons are going to be collectors items like the newspapers back in 2000 touting the Al Gore win...

I fully support and plan to vote for Obama. But that is funny. What a flub by that media firm. No more accounts for them.
