(CNN) - Barack Obama likes to stress his willingness to work across party lines, but Republican Sen. Larry Craig probably isn't the Illinois senator's top choice when it comes to showcasing his bipartisan credentials.

But campaign buttons mistakenly featuring those two politicians surfaced over the weekend under the Obama campaign's motto "Change You Can Believe In," according to CNN Idaho affiliate KPVI.

The buttons, created by an Ohio-based company called Tigereye Design, was supposed to feature Obama alongside the Democratic Senate candidate in Idaho, Larry LaRocco. A retired editor for the Lewiston Tribune noticed the mistaken buttons and printed them in Sunday's edition.

LaRocco's campaign says the buttons weren't ordered by them, but rather a commercial firm that sells campaign memorabilia.

Craig, who was arrested last year for allegedly soliciting sex in an airport men's room, is not running for reelection.

Why wou;ld CNN even print this?? Shouldn't you worry more about economic plans and whether steps are being taken to ensure everyone registered is able to vote and that the machines are reliable?? How about fact checking the McCain ad you keep giving free air time for??

Democrats can't even get a button right, and you want them to run the country? Scary.

Typical Karl Rove tactics written all over this.

McCain says he rather lose an election than lose a war.

Nice punchline McCain, but you do realize that if you lose the election, you will "lose" the Iraq War that no one wants to see continue anyway.

wonder if the "someone" who ordered those buttons is from the RNC or a friend of Karl Rove? Just the sort of thing they would do. Too bad this election has become another trove of name-calling. Artlicles galore on the difficulties of being black, bringing up racism over and over, nothing at all on the limitations caused by advancing age. Odd, isn't it? Both of these guys are going to make mistakes in speaking that don't mean much – but McCain is still fighting the cold war and Vietnam in his head and that's way more dangerous than someone who takes the time to think things through and understands that the commander-in-chief has to balance all of the potential war theaters, not just one. Show me the nation that has won any war on four fronts (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran)? We simply don't have the power to do what McCain wants to do. Clearly he is the one who "doesn't understand."

Oh please, this was a stupid mistake. Everyone complaining about this should take a breath and learn to appreciate the sheer hilarity of Such a Liberal standing beside such a conservative idiot. The pairing is hysterical. Btw, I'd laugh just as hard had it been Bush & Elliot Spitzer. Without humor life is miserable folks, please don't forget that.

The McCain campaign has gone to the lowest of the low if they put out this nonsense for people to see. They have been doing nothing but whine and attack Senator Obama since he embarked on a world wide tour which turned out successfully, quite contrary to their expectation.
The man looked Presidential amongst the World's Who is Who!!!!!
He has all it takes to be President of the United States of America.

Please leave him alone and face the facts. We want to hear substance, not unnecessary attacks : "Obama this, Obama that". Talk facts and stop all the "Obama is naive, Obama does not understand" YES, HE UNDERSTANDS QUITE ALRIGHT. HE IS NOT NAIVE. GO OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE A WINNER.

McCain and the Republicans have no shame. And McCain is far from principled with his andhis party's dirty tricks and lies about Obama even in his most recent ad on Obama. McCain continues to demonstrate he is far from being presidential and leading our country honestly, ethically and morally. or with high standards of decency.

My best friend lives in Boise Idaho and sent me this button yesterday- What a hoot! Wide-stance Craig always seems to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time! I'm a big OBAMA supporter and the sight of this "campaign" button made me squirm!

Nice try Ohio Republicains, they "accidently" printed those buttons. Wow, and you wonder why people like me, left that waste of a state. You got to be kidding me! Have it repubs, pull all the tricks you got out, it makes no difference. Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America and it will be better to have the first female Vice President of the United States who's husband happen to be a former president. Yep, that will really make you sick. Hopefully then all you racist and bigots will leave the country and we can have a true democracy. You McKlanians are pathetic.

soldier4OBAMA – "This is beyond funny. Larry Craig a pediphile republican, who play with men in public restrooms"

Larry Craig is not a pedophile. He is just gay. Just because someone is gay does not mean that they are a pedophile.
