McCain's biopsy negative

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/07/29/art.mccainbiop.ap.jpg caption="McCain's biopsy was negative."](CNN) - A biopsy on a patch of skin removed from John McCain's temple Monday shows no evidence the Arizona senator has skin cancer, the Mayo clinic announced.

"Senator McCain visited the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, yesterday for a routine check of his dermatological health,”

Michael Yardley, Chair of Public Affairs at the Mayo Clinic, said in a statement issued Tuesday. “The biopsy that was performed did not show any evidence of skin cancer. No further treatment is necessary.”

McCain, who has had four malignant melanomas removed in the past, had a "mole-like" growth lifted from his face during a routine checkup. He told reporters later in the day it was removed only as a precautionary measure.

McCain also told CNN's Larry King Monday night he gets a routine skin checkup every three months, and his doctor often removes small patches of skin to ensure he remains cancer free.

"We do it quite frequently for those of us that were young and had great exposure to the sun," he said. "As you know my dad was in the Navy and we lived in places where I was at the beach a lot, and I'm paying the price for that."

Okay, that was an extremely fast result.. I wish my HMO would get my cancer results that fast. I am a 3x survivor.. Guess you have to be an elitist..

So John you have to have testing 3 every months.. for how long?.. if you are president even throughout your presidency..??

thats a lot of health concerns for the American people to endure..

I want a healthy, younger, spry and rested president.

    Obama .... yes we can...

Obama is wowing them in Europe and the Middle East. A king cut his vacation short to meet with Obama. Over 220,000 Germans filled the streets of Berlin to hear Obama speak.

The best McCain can do, on the other hand, is broadcast an ad that misrepresents what Obama did while he was overseas on a trip that McCain pestered him into taking, and also get a clean bill of health for a freckle.

Nice. Very presidential John. Have no no shame at all? Oh yeah. No you don't. If you did, you would apologize to America, and go home.

He lies about everything why not that? If they ( his doctors and campaign staff) aren't going to say anything to further indicate McCain is old, ill or otherwise UNFIT!

Funny how Barack is making news while McCain is running after his Health.

Add a year or two to this and imagine how running America would look like should McCain become president.

    Example:
    G-8 summit meeting: July 2009
Attendants: leaders of all G-8 nations, except president of the US, John S. McCain

Reason of absence: He was removing a mole or he forgot the meeting schedule..... pretty impressive ehn?

That's good news. Hillary! Hillary! Hillary!!!!!!!

Nancy Pelosi made a mistake this evening introducing Obama as the Democratic nominee. She should know better, she is the chairman of the convention. He may not be. Just look at those polls he is falling and McCain is coming up. Why? Because people are holding out for Hillary and if she is not the nominee or the VP, Obama will NOT win the election. PUMA's Unite!

Now if we can just get rid of the cancerous growth in the White House (Repuglicans) then AMERICA will have a clean bill of health.

I would like to remind Senator McCain that victory in Iraq has already been achieved. May 1, 2003, on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln, under a banner saying "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED," President Bush announced that combat operations in Iraq have ended. Bush said; "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.

    too old !

imagine 4 years of reports like this.. The president' job is extremely stressful. I dont think McCain can handle the stress. Unless he takes weekends off like he is planning.

  12. Whatever

Why is there an ad on CNN's political ticker for Barack Obama? I know this comment will not be posted, but CNN, please do not lose whatever credibility you have left. As I said in an earlier post, you will need to change your name to the OEN ( Obama Election Network.) We are watching, and we have noticed.

Keep denying the cancer is back until they can deny it no longer; way to go, republicans.

It may behoove John McCain to disclose the truth about his cancer now than to wait for someone to discover it a week or so before the election. I am just saying.

They don't remove moles for nothing. He dodged the bullit this time but with 4 melanoma;s in the past, if they ever missed one, he'd be long dead by now.

So I'm sure they cut on him much more aggressively than for most people. Also even for past melanoma patients at high risk, a skin check every 6 months is all many insurance pland will cover (normal people just once a year), but McCain is getting them every 3 months.

Obviously, he has better insurance than most and obviously this is a major threat to his life.
