[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/07/30/art.billc.gi.jpg caption="Bill Clinton made millions in 2007 off speeches."](CNN) - Former president Bill Clinton earned $10.1 million in 2007 from paid speeches, according to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s U.S. Senate financial disclosure reports released Wednesday.

Clinton delivered a total of 54 paid speeches in 12 states, the District of Columbia, and 11 countries. His haul from speaking fees for 2006 was $10.2 million.

His most expensive address was delivered on August 14, 2007, in London to AEG, a Los Angeles-based entertainment company, for $425,000. The former president earned $150,000 for 31 of his 54 speeches and an overall average of $186,759.26 per speech. He did not deliver any paid speeches for less than $100,000 in 2007.

The groups he addressed last year include large companies, such as General Electric (delivered on January 13 for $150,000) and Goldman Sachs (delivered on March 1 for $150,000); civic organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles (delivered on March 6 for $150,000); and media organizations, such as TVLand (delivered on March 23 for $150,000) and KCBS Radio in San Francisco (delivered on April 14 for $150,000).

Just over half of Clinton’s income from paid speeches came from overseas. He earned a total of $5,150,000 from speeches in 10 countries: Canada (six speeches for a total of $1.1 million); Denmark (three speeches for a total of $790,000); Great Britain (2 speeches for a total of $595,000); Germany (one speech for $250,000); Greece (one speech for $300,000); Hungary (one speech for $275,000); Korea (one speech for $150,000); the Netherlands (one speech for $250,000); Norway (three speeches for $870,000); and Sweden (two speeches for $595,000)

Good for him. And no, he shouldn't be required to pay off Hillary's bills. If her supporters want to pay up, let them. However, if they don't nobody else made those debts but her. Unless of course, we want another government bailout.

Bill made $200K a year for 8 years as the most powerful man in the world (note it was raised to $400K during the Bush admin). It is hard to argue that he (and all previous presidents) wasn't underpaid.

Being president has delayed financial benefits. What's the big deal. People want to pay him to talk, so why shouldn't he do it?

Maybe someone should start a website showing how much he has taken in on propaganda speeches and how much he has used to help his wife retire the debt she ran up and fully expected voters to cover. Maybe her loyalist screwball PUMA"s could pony up eough cash to have Bill make a speech for them on the condition that he donate the money to "debt retirement" .

President Clinton was the best!!! Hillary will be a great president. You Obamites with your hate filled rhetoric, continue to show your ignorance.

Unfortunately, Obama will lose because you won't stop the hate and so we Clinton supporters can't find it in ourselves to join with you.

I'm staying home in November...the DNC showed me that my vote doesn't count anyway.

Okay. 25M minus 10 equals 15 Million WAY TO GO CLINTONS! YOU CHOP THAT DEBT DOWN TO SIZE!
Why are these people asking me for money? I was going to contribute to reducing Hillary's debt but now that I am reminded of exactly how rich these people are, I feel less inclined to part with my hard earned cash by giving it to them. I know one thing if the Dems are gonna beat the GOP, those guys are gonna need more money.
I'm gonna buy another OBAMA T-SHIRT Those things are SO in style right now. It says you have hope for a brighter future

Funny, the Obama supporters don't care at all where Obama and his wifes money came from but they complain about the Clintons making money honestly instead of like Obama's gifts from Rezko and the other freak terrorists.

Hmm why havent we seen Bill out campaigning for unity with Obama? Is it because he knows that Obama fully plans to snub his wife and not offer her the vice presidency. What a way to endorse obama threw an aide and a released statement.
Well Im with you Bill-No bama not falling in line. "Not this Time"

The Democratic nomination race was a spirited one to put it mildly. President Bill Clinton said some things and took some actions at the time that I didn't support. However, he was supporting his wife. This is to be respected.

I voted for President Clinton in 1992 and 1996 and I am one among many who find his work through his global fund quite admirable.

$10M from delivering speeches? The man is a Political Powerhouse. Good health and happiness, President Clinton!

That 's $188,888.89 per speech. He needs to do 132.35 or we'll round it off to 132 speeches to pay Hillary's 25,000,000 debt. But then again, the price must have gone up in 2008 so let's say 100 speeches.

You obviously don't get it....."NoMcSame" is merely pointing out the racist point of view that these ex-HRC/now McCain/PUMA supporters have in respect to Obama.....he's being sarcastic....and I agree with his point 100%.

He charged civic organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles $150 K for speaking. First a rich Repub senator taking bribes in Alaska now this.

Greed I guess has no limits. I guess he can use the money to pay of Hillary's dept.
