Clinton supporters to stage '18 Million Voices' march

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Sen. Clinton waved at supporters gathered in early June as she announced the suspension of her White House bid."]
(CNN) – A grassroots organization of Hillary Clinton supporters has announced plans to march in Denver on the same day the New York senator is set to address her party’s faithful during the Democratic convention there.

The march will take place on August 26 and is being organized by 18 Million Voices Rise Hillary Rise. The march will be accompanied by a festival in downtown Denver and additional coordinated marches across the country on the same day.

Clinton, who garnered approximately 18 million votes in the long Democratic primary fight, is scheduled to speak at the convention on the 88th anniversary of the date American women were granted the right to vote.

Since Clinton announced the formal suspension of her presidential campaign, the Obama campaign has gone to great lengths to promote party unity. Clinton and Obama appeared together at a campaign event in Unity, New Hampshire; the Obama campaign recently announced that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson will be holding two fund-raising events to help retire Clinton’s campaign debt; and Clinton is scheduled to campaign on Obama’s behalf in key states.

The dnc & cnn deserve their SELECTED candidate. The rest of us do not! Had they not SELECTED this unspeakable candidate and let Hillary WIN the nomination, she would be carrying a 20+ pt lead over McCain at this point. Hope the superdelegates wake up at the convention and do a roll call. I can't physically be there at the march but will certainly be there in thoughts and prayers. Other than that as a registered dem. I will be voting for McCain! obama has not united anything but the biased news medias.

I WISH I COULD BE THERE!!! At least I had the chance to go to the DNC headquarters in Washington on April 30th to protest our votes not being counted. I still have not taken the Hillary stickers off my vehicle. Still wishing and hoping that a surprise will happen and that Hillary will either be nominated as a presidential candidate or Senator Obama naming her as his V.P. I would prefer her to be nominated as our next President of the United States. She is the best candidate. GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People need to seriously consider what is at stake here. By creating a boondoggle distraction, these Hillary backers are strengthening McCain's chances. McCain is a man who cannot wait to enter us into the fray of a 3rd simultaneously waged war. Can someone here tell me the last time in history a nation invaded three seperate countries? I'll give you a hint, it has something to do with Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin. Bush, Cheney, and McCain won't stop until they stoke the fires for a 3rd World War. A vote for McCain is a vote for more war, potentially on a worldwide scale.

If their purpose is to promote anything other than support for Obama and the Democratic Party platform, than they should be ashamed to call themselves Democrats. If the devisiveness of some Clinton supporters costs Obama the election, they will have only themselves to blame for any of President McCain's policies regarding Iraq and the economy.

The price to pay for stirring your Obamabots into an ANTI-Hillary hate fest of vulgarity and insults.

The DNC, celebrities and the Media should have played fair.

    So should have Obama.

His hateful thugs really did the democrats in.

Why dont these "so called" supporters help her try to retire her debt instead of letting their ignorance shine through.

I will be willing to bet they wont have 10,00o people to attend this so called march. and then they wonder why Barack Obama doesnt want her as his runnint mate.

PUMA's and Hillary supporters are idiots.

Hillary's PUMA's, you know the 'woman' vote want to support a man who would throw his wife into a bimbo bikini contest!
Google Cindy McCain and eat a banana, or pour sugar, or pimped out.
It would be interesting to see if some of Bill's charitable groups are funding any of this!?

How do you win if you don't stick together. Hillary lost let's be grown-ups. Do we go through four more years of hell too make a point? Plus I think that 18 million may be a little figure of some websites ego.

If indeed you have 18 million voices, why then could you all come up with a dollar each to pay off her debt. If you all cared for her as you purport, then you would have paid her debt off by now.
    How Pathetic

I wish I could be there and support Hillary..she did get over 18 million votes and Barack and his people think they have a chance...Let's nominate Hillary ,the only people who put Barack as the nominee were the SUPER DELEGATES not the American People...Barack has shown everyday how he is just a puppet and is his having his strings pulled by Kennedy,Kerry,Pelosi and Howard Dean...this is why they did not want Hillary..she is a fighter ..a fighter for all of the American people!!!!

And so the Clinton legacy continues–DRAMA.

Whatever, I will be there and I will not waste a minute of my time thinking about Hillary Clinton. She and Bill are the most selfish, self-centered people on the planet.

I'm not spending my hard earned money, staying in a Denver hotel without a discount I might add, to see or hear Hillary Hateful Clinton.
I hope she gets every dime of her money back, which is really why she's running this march. Sharmeful.

I will be there with you Sister. We love you Hillary. It is not too late to take the nomination away from the darling of the Liberal Media and the Hollywood crowd. To victory with Hllary. The only one with
    the "Cojones" to challenge Obama.

Great, maybe if they all give $1.00 she can get close to retiring her debt. Honestly, they pretend to support her so much but why can't they help her witth her $25mil. debt? This is pathetic. Instead of having their voices heard, what about their pocketbooks?
