Source: Obama calls Veep runner-ups

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Obama has already made his decision, say sources. "](CNN) - Sen. Barack Obama called some people on his short-list for the vice presidential slot Thursday night to tell them he had not selected them as running mate, a highly placed Democratic party source told CNN.

The source did not say which people got the call.

Obama has told some other potential running mates over the last few weeks that he would not be choosing them.

Obama called the dems that don't favor killing a living child after a botched abortion to tell them they are too right wing to be on his ticket.

All you Hillary lovers please stop! Do you not remember who excited the GOP was to run against you? Put Hillary on the ticket and the GOP base gets revved up, starts pumping money into McCain's coffers and starts working hard to get him elected just to spite Hillary and therefore Obama. You guys act like there's not more than 18 million people who want to vote against her. THERE IS!

does not matter who he picks as this is what is going around the USA via E mail, Video and word of mouth:
Quote from Obama's Book Audacaity of Hope:

QUOTE: " I shall stand with the Muslims should the Policitcal Winds shift ugly".

    He's toast.

JACK- perhaps you should stop flaunting your ignorance to the rest of the world. That quote is taken out of context and it is quite easy to verify what was actually written. It's because of people like you that this country is toast.

Message for the PUMAs (real PUMAs, not Republicans pretending to be PUMAs):

I have, on this forum, beseeched you to not vote for McCain as he will set women's rights back 100 years. His agreement that we may need a draft should scare you all beyond belief. These are our children's lives you're playing with.

  11. hello? hello?

Did he call himself to say he won't be selected for President?

McCain will start a DRAFT, what a joke. The house and senate is controled by the Democrats for now, will they make a draft bill the law?

How is their approval rating going? 8% Going to be a lot of losers soon. So sad for you Democrats.

Thank God we have had a great president for the past 8 years, thanks President Bush.

Hope that president McCain will be as good as Bush.

    McCain TAX increases.

What does obama stand for?....nothing he has flip-flopped like no other in the past 3 months and at every turn where it was politically expedient. How can people supposedly educated vote for him? Education does equate with intelligence and common-sense thats how. This Chicago con man has these poor kids locked away in the ivory tower existence of college life(basically extended but looser apron strings) protected from the real world and he has them so bamboozled its sad. I can't wait until a few years from now when they
grow up, mature, gain a little lifes experience (common sense) and wake up saying "OMG how stupid was I? "

To all the Republicans who are negatively commenting on Barack not telling who is VP is yet.

Once again, POT MEET KETTLE. McCain hasn't told you his VP yet either.

Well we already know it's not going to be Hillary because she's alrady in debt and can't talk about the economy. I hope Hillary supporters understand why she would not be good for the VP spot.

I really hope he's chosen Clark. Wes should have got the nod in 2004, but apparently voters were clueless.

Obama is showing with this that he truly is a celebrity. Here's media...let me tantalize you with my short list of VPs who will not be chosen.

I've seen enough. Announce your decision already.

Is this the way you'll make decisions that matter to America when you're elected?

I can see it now: CNN: Breaking Story: Obama hints at decision to lower gas prices. Email sent with subject line "How to lower gas prices" and in the body of that e-mail?

    ...just kidding...

The only two short-listers without scheduled speeches at the Convention are Tim Kaine and Wes Clark.

Obama's really been playing coy and cute with the whole VP thing. Everyday, some "leak" or statement to the press, just so he can hog the media spotlight. Someone should tell him that we're gagging on hearing a new "twist" on the same old topic every single day. Who will be Obama's VP? Yuck! Just give us a break already, name whoever it is, and start talking up your platform and ideas (if you can).

After my experience with Bill Clinton and not knowing the actual person behind the Name Hillary and then not knowing that their Al Gore was Addison State Banks, Texas' Al, I will never EVER vote for any President with out knowing who is the VP running mate and what their plans are for this country in the event they have to step in to the Presidency...NEVER...Hillary would have had Bill killed with Vince Foster. Al Gore would have made Hillary VP when he stepped in...You need to show me the person and let them speak long before the conventions...Hillary should have never been able to influence Bill's choice for VP.....Hillary had Bill coming through the front door and Al entering from the rear......

  22. Is PUMA contagious? I don't want to catch it!

The only reason people are making a big stink about it is because they are wondering if he's going to pick Clinton, that's it. Everyone is kind of "will he or won't he" right now, once again, it all revolves around her. This whole primary was about her, this convention is all about her and I will be SOOO glad once he picks his VP (NOT CLINTON) and the convention is over so I don't have to hear about her for a long, long time. Relief can't come soon enough...
