Obama-Biden bus tour announced

(CNN) – Barack Obama and Joe Biden are set to hit several battleground states following the conclusion of the Democratic Nation Convention Thursday evening, the Obama campaign announced Wednesday.

The tour is dubbed "On the Road to Change,” and will feature stops in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania – all states expected to play a critical roll this fall.

The trip will be the first extended campaign leg featuring Obama and Biden together, as well as both candidates’ spouses.

Good, glad to see this, I'd also do a bus tour of the entire states of Fla/VA and NC. Maybe a quick trip to 3-4 cities in Alaska, hey if its gonna be that close, a extra 3 EC wont hurt!. Win all the states John K .,won, take any 3 to put Obama over the top: Fla. CO. VA and kick in a few surprises of red to blu maybe Montana? South Dakota?

please come to portland, president obama and vice president biden, we will give you another record-breaking crowd!

it's time for CHANGE, america, and that aint happening with mcsame!!

to all the dems in mineapolis during the republican convention-first i'd like to offer my condolences, you must be mortified that your beautiful city is about to be overrun with immoral criminals!

but i heard a GREAT idea on air america and i HOPE many of you will do it! it's time we play dirty like the repugs, they're so good at it and we have to sink to their gutter level: make up a ton of campaign signs, buttons, bumper stickers, etc. that say "BUSH/MCCAIN 08".

post them EVERYWHERE, get into every crowd you can, and get in front of every TV camera you can (which will be a challenge since they OWN the media). blanket the city with BUSH/MCCAIN yard signs.

actually ALL of us across the entire country need to make buttons, bumper stickers, and yard signs with that TRUTHFUL message-BUSH/MCCAIN 08.

WE know mcsame is just more of the same, but there are still people out there who have no clue and buy all the nonsense they are spoon-fed by our right-wing media!

    WAKE UP, AMERICA!!!!!!

Mike – Texas, are one of those states Czechoslovakia? Are you saying that a Harvard educated constitutional expert doesn’t know who many states exist or was he talking about the number of contests? Why don’t you stick to the issues so we can work on getting you out of that trailer and give you a better life?

It's too bad the democrats can't schedule effectively. Putting the main speakers on at 10am at night was crazy. How many blue collar workers they are trying to reach will stay up to hear them when they have to be at work in seven in the morning. Talk about a disconnect from reality!

It's sad that the media is putting us against one another. Why can't we just respect one's opinions without belittling anyone who thinks differently? When this is all over, regardless of who is elected, we need to come together as one country. If you have a solution, start acting instead of just yelling from the sidelines. Do your own research instead of letting the media decide and sometimes confuse you.
More and more I see people on here talking about a candidate that they don't like and when asked their reasoning, it has nothing to do with their stance on the ISSUES. The media has been focused on the petty things. I'm a young black woman who is now old enough to vote on a presidential election and it saddens me to see ignorance in some people because they are voting based on what the media puts out and not the candidates themselves.
I won't tell you guys who to vote for...I URGE you guys to do your own research, compare and contrast the ISSUES to what matters the most in your life and make that decision for yourselves.
    God Bless

Thank goodness for this news. I'm tired of hearing from the "Alzheimer's Talk Express." It's a shame you can't remember how many homes you have Sen. McCain, or how many times you've sided with George Bush. Are you ashamed that telling the American people the truth that we will realize how out of touch you are with all of us???

  21. No Way. No How. NO McCAIN!!

While McCain is speaking at his national convention, Let's RALLY and make our voices heard! (in New York, Atlanta, LA, and Chicago)

Turn around McCain's "celebrity" attack on Obama (a concept that he will use at the convention ad nauseam), by having celebrities perform and speak on the issues. Let's use the celebrity angle to our advantage...

Take cameratime away from McCain when he makes his speech!

I wrote a comment on how McCain's policies are identical to Bush policies and how his health plan was so ridiculous but of course CNN wouldn't print it in this blog. We can't have the truth and hurt the McCain campaign now can we.
