ST. PAUL, Minnesota (CNN) - Republican National Committee co-chair Jo
Ann Davidson mistakenly referred to the party's presumptive vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, as "Sarah Pawlenty" at the Republican National Convention Tuesday.
Palin, the governor of Alaska, was a surprise choice to join Sen. John McCain on the Republican ticket. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty had been considered one of the front-runners for the slot.
Priceless!!!!
HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL Out of the mouths of babes!
What a bunch of misfits!
wow...it's amazing at how many of the republicans are uneducated and out of tune with their own party, let alone the rest of America.
These people don't get anything right.
Wishful thinking! Pawlenty would have been a boring choice – but from the perspective of the Palin train wreck, the GOP can only wish McCain had gone with someone dull, safe, & predictable!
Hmmm, might there be a change at the bottom half of the ticket coming?..
Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!
Ghetto! Ghetto! Ghetto!
Palin! Palin! Palin!
She wishes it WAS Pawlenty. She knows they are about to implode!
WOW IM JUST LAUGHING NOW
D'oH!
Oopsie!!!
That is rich.
Confusion?
Freudian slip, Republicans?
UH, COUNTRY FIRST........YEAH, THAT'S THE TICKET......LOL!!!!!!!!
Maybe this is just the first phase of them slowly maneuvering to a McCain / Pawlenty ticket? They hope no one will notice if it's all done very gradually, with taste and decorum.
I love all these Fruedian slips out of both campaigns. It's just so much FUN!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahah hu hu hu......ahhhhhh
Todd Palin, husband of Sarah, was a member of the secessionist Alaska Independence Party from 1995 through 2002. That's the information we just got from the Alaska Division of elections.
Probably not coincidentally, 2002 was the first time Sarah Palin ran for statewide office in Alaska.
Remember, They want us to react so they can use anything to blame our party candidate and supporters. Don't be FOOLED by their hired hands and make any negative comments.
We should now see it's has BEEN their PLAN from the very first blunder.
If there is any negative comments after this article, it's just them pretending to be DEMOCRATS........WE WILL LET THEM WORD FIGHT AGAINST EACH OTHER...
I'm more convinced than ever that Senator McCain has blown it with his selection for VP – but not because she's a woman and not because she's inexperienced. He's blown it because he FLIP-FLOPPED by picking someone with so little experience after he vociferously attacked his opponent on the same grounds!
Personally, I don't have a problem with either one's experience. I just have a problem when the guy who wants to head the country will say anything to win.
yea, I was watching and saw that–
guess that Pawlenty was the original choice and was written into her speech–a while back–
and they had to change it up when McCain went wacko on the RNC–and chose Ms Palin-no offense to Ms Palin–
looks like the speech writers only changed the first name-LOL-
Wow, I mean how could someone forget the most popular governor in the country. Or was that a Freudian slip? Incompetence First!
good lord, i'm amazed there's people amongst us who fall for this bovine scatology!
The co-chair doesn't even know who Palin is. Don't fault her though...neither does anyone else.
