Biden: Palin seems to have ‘extreme views’

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (CNN) - Joe Biden said Monday that vice presidential opponent Sarah Palin seems to have "some very extreme views."
Speaking to a union crowd in Wisconsin, Biden also said he hasn't heard enough specifics from the Alaska governor, and that he's hoping to learn more about her positions before the two debate October 2.
"Hopefully by the time the debate takes place, we’ll have a better sense of her other than some of what she says and what appear to be some very extreme views," Biden said.

"I’m assuming that she shares John McCain’s views on most of the issues. And she even says, if the press is correct - and I’m not ready, prepared to make a judgment [on this] - her views on everything from global warming to other things, if they are as presented, they’re pretty far out there."

Well of course she thinks global warming is a good thing, she's from Alaska. Naturally she thinks the economy should run on oil, her state's getting rich off oil. Wildlife conservation gets in the way of her hunting and snowmobiling pastimes. Her positions aren't just extreme, they're extremely self-serving and self-indulgent.
If this is mainstream, the US is worse off than the Roman Republic.

If they don't like what you stand for, bring your Mother on stage and tell her in public that McCain doesn't want you to stand as President because "you are less entitled to that position" than they are!

Oh I think she gives a whole new meaning to the word "extreme." When I listen to her, I better understand why her husband looks nervous in a crowd.
I am trusting there is a strategy behind the soft responses the Obama/Biden dream team have been giving in regards to Palin.

Her ideas are mainstream??? That's a scary thought! The woman doesn't believe in birth control, sex education, abortion under any circumstance, global warming, she likes the annililation of any animal that gets in her way (wipeout the wolves so they don't eat the caribou, cuz she wants to hunt the caribou), Iraq is God's work, pray for the Jews to "see the Light", teenage pregnancy is a blessing, and on and on. Let's not forget that Alaska is going to be a haven at world's end.... Never mind the politics...that's a whole other story.....

Not only does palin have "extreme views"...she has "over the top"opinions of herself....and isn't ashamed to lie to the american pulbic as to her "non" accomplishments. by the time the debate rolls around her lied will have be covered up by the mcsame staff and speech writers...she'll have practised enough to be able press coverage. it is all sickening to me...i'd rather hear the facts and the issues...straigh talk and less polictical grandstanding....mccain accused the democrates of celebrity etc...now who's deliberately doing it.....yeah...the candidates with the (R) behind their names...more of the same........

I am a pro CHOICE woman, which means every woman has the right to make the choices that are right for HER. As long as Sarah Palin doens't start trying to force her choices on every woman, I honor and respect the choices she has made for herself and her family and so should every other woman in this country.

Palin supports having creationism taught in public schools. She is opposed to abortion even in the case of rape or incest. She makes fun of community organizers. What was the reverand Dr. Martin Luther King Jr? By the way, McCain originally opposed a holiday in Dr. King's honor. The Dems don't need to do anything but let her speak and people will see her for what she is:inexperienced to be even considered for VP or, heaven forbid, the President.

In my lengthy lifetime experience I have learned to distrust a person who's method of communication resorts to mockery, sarcasm or coy overtones. Sarah Palin embodies all of these. Sarah, you demean yourself by playing this game. I have supported Obama from day one, not because of your cutesie politics; you can only hope you'll someday attain Barack's knowledge and composure.

She has seen little of the world, has no concept of how other cultures live, has scant political experience. And this woman could be just a heartbeat away from the Presidency.
