McCain ad paints Dems as wolfpack hunting Palin

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/09/10/art.wolfad.cnn.jpg caption="New McCain ad paints Democrats as a wolfpack hunting Palin."](CNN) - John McCain's campaign released a new ad Wednesday that portrays Democratic operatives as a vicious wolfpack hunting VP nominee Sarah Palin.

“The attacks on Governor Palin have been called ‘completely false’...’misleading,’” says the female announcer in the 30-second spot, which points to a report from Factcheck.org shooting down many attacks on the Alaska governor. “And they've just begun.”

Watch: The latest McCain ad does a fact check on Obama

The announcer cites a Wall Street Journal column that 30 Democratic lawyers and researchers have been “air dropped” into Alaska “dig dirt” on Palin.

That column, by pundit John Fund, cites anonymous sources in reporting that unnamed Democrats have descended on Anchorage. The Democratic National Committee and the Obama campaign have denied sending anyone to Alaska to conduct research into Palin’s past.

“As Obama drops in the polls, he'll try to destroy her,” says the announcer, as images of a wolfpack appear on screen. "Obama's politics of hope? Empty words."

The McCain campaign said the ad would be airing in “key states,” although it did not say where, or how extensive the buy would be.

    Same ole, same ole Republican Party. The Republican Party has not run on the issues since Dwight D. Eisenhower did in 1952. There is not one honest politician in the "REPUBLICAN" party if one of you doesn't stand up and say enough is enough.

    uh huh....this is ridiculous.

    Why doesn't she just get her big ol' gun and hunt the wolfpack instead of hiding in John McCain's cabin? Probably because she has no bullets (aka substance, ideas, experience, change). She is another empty suit and the McCain camp knows it, otherwise they'd let her talk to the media.

    What about the Republican operatives dropped in Alaska to prevent an investigation and possible indictment in her brother-in-laws firing. If there is no dirt on the moose killing, one speech, grandma why are you worried McCain. Time to man up ! Your pit bull can't talk smack about the other candidates and expect to fall back on her ovaries when it suits.

    Remember the election in 2006? A little over one year ago:

    1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
    2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
    3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

    Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

    1) Consumer confidence plummet;
    2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.95 a gallon;
    3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 25% increase);
    4) American households have seen $2.7 trillion in equity value evaporate
    (stock and mutual fund losses);
    5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.5 trillion dollars;
    6) 3% of American homes are in foreclosure.

    Remember it’s Congress that makes law not the President. He has to work with what’s handed to him.

    McBush and the Repubs are terrible! Palin is against stem cell research, says Iraq war was God's wish. She also does not believe mankind activities cause global warming. She wants to force her 18 Century mentality on woman's right to choose even in cases of incest and rape. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

    Obama did this to himself. He is the one that said he would run a different campaign. He is the one that claimed to get rid of old school Washington politics. Then he is the one that went against all of that and started lashing out personal attacks to get his name back on television.

    Obama, you are no leader. You are a puppet of the Democratic National Committee. YOU do not need to be our Commander in Chief, and you probably don't even need to be a Senator in our Great Nation. You know nothing of Country First. You only know how to promote yourself. You are selfish, self-centered, and you are going DOWN!

    Country First.

    Update for Carl Rove and the repug pigs, cronies and even the sows with lipstick. Obama has a 40 point lead in the electorate college. So, you can have the victory in the soap opera context that you're trying to turn this race into. We'll stick with winning the the electorial college.

    Shows that community organizers gets things done.

    McCain Palin have nothing but lies and smears to run on, nothing but re-packaged failed policies to offer, and now they are complaining about the media? The media alone are responsible for creating the Maverick McCain and Reformer Palin myths in the first place. They should be thanking the media.

    Another Shiny Metal Object:

    This shiny metal to keep Dems from focusing on the issues will not work. What happens when McSame sends his mascot back home? Will she be attacked by the big bad media? Well let's throw some fairy dust in the air to keep the media from talking to her. Oh, I know let's call them a wolf pack attacking Sarah. That way, she won't have to face the music until we finish educating her.

    This trick won't work either, she has been on the national scene for 12 days now, and that's 12 days too many. You're saying this woman who hasn't said one word to the press should be our VP? She may be your queen, but she's not ours.

    I have a lesson for Queen Sarah. The country you want to lead is AMERICA, not CHINA.

    Sarah palin has so many problems since the pick was announced. So the real question surrounding this woman is " Is she qualified"?. That point has been forgotten. This governor may be a great gov. but it is very obvious to most of america, she is not qualified. Since when can the most powerful country in the world be put into the hands of someone that been on the national seen for all of 2 months? Barack obama recieved 18 million votes to support where he is. It doesnt matter what someone has accomplished , I would want to know about them publicly for alot more then 2 months. THATS THE QUESTION SOME OF THESE SO CALLED MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD BE ASKING. Please post this CNN.

    You can call it a wolfpack if you choose to but the truth is Sarah Palin was chosen for one purpose and one purpose only; to help John McCain win. To hell with the country. At this point it doesn't matter what Barack or Joe say the GOP will jump on it and trash the Dem. ticket. Sarah Palin was never vetted properly. She keeps giving the same old speech and John McCain is still hiding behind her lipstick. How pathetic is this picture. Keep on truckin Barack and Joe. Do what you have to do. If we don't elect Barack President, Hillary will probably run for President in 2012 with the USA in a depression and world war III. Hillary, you and Bill need to get out there and get Barack elected. The BBC reported yesterday that the International World wants Barack for President . They hate John McCain and Sara Palin is a joke.

    12 days and counting since Governor Palin was introduced as Senator McCain's Running Mate. 12 days and the media has not had a chance to interview Governor Palin. 12 days and the same convention speech over and over.

    Talk about the bloody issues! I'm sure the small town folks who have flocked to the Palin farce are glad their tax dollars are being used for this ad. What's the point? How does that help the housing market? They need to stop treating her like a little doll.

    I deplored the tactic on both sides but Obama's supporters started this hate tirade against Hillary and her democratic supporters. I have not forgotten.
