McCain ad paints Dems as wolfpack hunting Palin

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="New McCain ad paints Democrats as a wolfpack hunting Palin."](CNN) - John McCain's campaign released a new ad Wednesday that portrays Democratic operatives as a vicious wolfpack hunting VP nominee Sarah Palin.

“The attacks on Governor Palin have been called ‘completely false’...’misleading,’” says the female announcer in the 30-second spot, which points to a report from shooting down many attacks on the Alaska governor. “And they've just begun.”

Watch: The latest McCain ad does a fact check on Obama

The announcer cites a Wall Street Journal column that 30 Democratic lawyers and researchers have been “air dropped” into Alaska “dig dirt” on Palin.

That column, by pundit John Fund, cites anonymous sources in reporting that unnamed Democrats have descended on Anchorage. The Democratic National Committee and the Obama campaign have denied sending anyone to Alaska to conduct research into Palin’s past.

“As Obama drops in the polls, he'll try to destroy her,” says the announcer, as images of a wolfpack appear on screen. "Obama's politics of hope? Empty words."

The McCain campaign said the ad would be airing in “key states,” although it did not say where, or how extensive the buy would be.

LOL someone please call the police. This is so lame somebody should be arrested. If there was nothing to her but what has been reported by the republicans then there would be no need for this now would there?

GOP...your tactics are about to blow up in your face.

Sarah and Johnny boy cannot continue to hide behind smear tactics and lies.

The DEMS are just as fed up with your ridiculous politics as the good people of this country.

    Mark my words....

For all of the lies and will eat your words.

Stop playing us as idiots. After the glitz and glam fades the real issues are what matters.

Issues like healthcare, education and jobs.

Also issues like why is your VP under investigation in her state, how is it that she accepted the PORK for the bridge but is supposed to be against pork, why did she pay herself a per diem to live in her home.

Lets not forget, McCain is running for President not Sarah.
The guy that would rather win a WAR then to do what right for the people. Country first right Johnny? The real fight is in Afganistan.
John, the man that left his cripple wife for his trophy. Yeah...a man of honor!

And Sexist? Aren't you just USING this woman to get your MAN into office.

Its like a PIMP to a Hooker in the GOP.

I hope that the people WAKE UP...we have had 8 years of lies and deceit do we need more.

We need change. PEOPLE change your way of thinking and open up your mind.

Gov. Palin should admit her lie about bridge to nowhere to prove herself she can be a Maverick. She does not seem to have honesty to admit and correct her remarks on her campaign trail for a week. More importantly, so does Sen. McCain. Lies about Iraq war by GOP white house has lead us the current situation with bad economy and high unemployment rate.
McCain/Palin's lack of courage to confront their lie is actually a living-proof that "they are more the same".

I'm getting annoyed! Did McCain sell his soul to the devil? I feel like he picked Palin so he could finally get into office, not for "country first".

Can Palin even speak without a script? What is she going to do when she is president and has to actually talk to Putin sans script? Maybe she will tell him she is relate-able because she is a hockey mom-I'm sure that will win him over!

I'm pleased there is finally going to be an interview (there should have been one everyday since she has been selected...the American people have the right to question their future leaders), but what do you want to bet that she talks about her "son going to Iraq" in her ABC interview so she doesn't have to focus on real issues) . There are thousands of sons and daughters in Iraq, that does not qualify you to be president. AND I thought that children choices had nothing to do with Palin (after all, her daughter's pregnancy is NO reflection on Palin–right?), so why should the accomplishments of her kids be any reflection on Palin? That is a total double-standard.
If she says one word about this in her interview with ABC's Gibson I am going to be upset! She should not use her son as a way to divert from real issues.

Palin–what is your platform? Do you agree 100% with McCain's platform? What are you going to do as vice president? Healthcare, Economy?????? Who are you? Start talking to us please....

Queen Sarah has saved the Republican Party from oblivion, but they are still going down. They've got a 500 pound chain around their neck and it's called GEORGE W. BUSH.

You may have flashed him on a screen at your convention, but he still occupies the White House. You can run GOP, but you can't hide, even when it's behind a skirt.

And the Reds are around every corner, right? Sounds like the same kind of propaganda they had in the 50's with all the anonymous sources and unnamed Democratic boogymen.

    I am saying it.

Palin IS a LYING PIG who has tossed out her daughter and own grandson for political sale.

She is a weak two-faced LIAR.

John McCain picked her because she is JUST like him (a lying, fake, low-life who does not deserve to be called a POW).

There is no substance to John McCain or Palin and that's why they are wasting money on ads to "nowhere" because they are the "Bridge to Nowhere". John McCain aka Keating 5 is a $3.6 billion dollar theif and you the taxpayers paid. John McCain will say and do anything to avoid being investigated in the Silver Bank failure that yes, you the taxpayers are footing that bill also. Wake Up America.

Please, I don't think Palin needs you to defend her. She is just like Mccain & Bush, more of the same!!!
Educated women, see her as an insult. We look at what she represents, which is more of the same. Thank you.

Get more dogs! Get more vicious dogs! Enough to attack both McCain & Palin! That's all they have done to Obama. Go after McCain & Palin's strengths. That is the only strength McCain & Palin have! Pathetic !!!

It's called vetting a candidate. But I guess you know nothing about that do you McCain? No matter, an October surprise is headed your way (and it's a doozy).

McCain himself used the exact same phrase to describe Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's health care plan just last year. "I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig," McCain said in October of 2007, describing Clinton's universal health care plan when she was running in the Democratic primary.

He also, in February 2007, used the phrase to describe conflict over a resolution on the Iraq War. "It gets down to whether you support what is being done in this new strategy or you don't," McCain said at the time. "You can put lipstick on a pig,[but] it's still a pig, in my view."

Why is the McCain campaign upset about their "change"mantra being called "lipstick on a pig?"

So it's OK for McCain to use the phrase "lipstick on a pig?" but not Obama?

It is obviously designed to distract the country from one big truth: the havoc that George Bush and the Republican Party have wrought, and that John McCain is committed to continuing.

Every second of this campaign not spent talking about the Republican Party’s record, and John McCain’s role in that record, is a victory for John McCain.

Ask yourself why we can't ask Palin any questions?

What is she hiding? Someone should demand that Rove make her available to answer a few questions.

Spewing lies with a stump speech day after day, with no one to challenge what you're saying or answering ANY questions seems VERY un-American.

This open dishonesty and pandering to the dumbest, most backward elements of this once great country makes me want to vomit.
