The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.
Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.
In an interview with CNN this summer, Forester did not hide her distaste for eventual Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
“This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns. “I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”
Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.
Survival of the Fittest, I won't let the door hit me on the way out. Oh and maybe Barack has a chance in about 50 years! lol. ANYBODY HOME! WE DON'T LIKE HIM!!!!
Boy, a lot of angry democrats on this one. I guess it hurts to hear people from your own party defect, but at least they are smart enough to jump of the Obama boat before it completely sinks. Maybe you'll can stay afloat by hanging on to the slim sliver of hope you have that Obama will win in NOV.
John McPain,
Don't like him because he's sneaky, devious, and has terrorist friends.
Hey
irony ,
..Don't ya think it's odd that you speak of jobs to Alaska,.yet your man obama and Nancy are against drilling, that the people of Alaska want, that will bring thousands of jobs to Alaska?! BTW,...check gas prices since the dems have been voted in,..and hey,..while your at it,..checkout the job loss since the dem's have been voted in,..and hey, while you're at it check out ANYTHING the dem's have accomplished since voted in!
If Fiornia is so smart, then why isn't she still at Hewlett Packard ?
Millionaires calling other millionaires elitist; I think the term should be saved for use by people who are not millionaires. Similar to the term blacks won't let anyone else call them except themselves. Said in all seriousness. It's the pot calling the kettle black. This woman jet sets between New York and London. And has how many homes? Who knows? She hangs around presidents, prime ministers and royalty. One of which Conrad Black, called his birth country of Canada an "an oppressive little world". He was later convicted of criminal fraud charges, but this down to earth woman feels sorry for Lord Black. When will the madness stop in this campaign? Or are people in general this ingenuous.
@irony: gas prices and unemployment have gone up everywhere, not just Alaska. Is it any coincidence that in the two years Palin has been governor, the Democrats have controlled congress? Who's to blame? Gas prices have gone up from $2.50 to up past $4 since the Dems took majority in both houses. They're the ones who make the laws, smart one.
Hey tish,NC-you're a bot-why so angry?????
Great News!!!-Watch others follow!!!-Boy this election is fun!!!!-DNC is having MAJOR BUYERS REMORSE!!!! and BO and all the bots are quite scared
NO WAY NO HOW N O B A M A!!!!
I'm so mad at Obama for not choosing Hillary as VP. Why oh why snub unity and possibly cost us the election.
I don't like Obama either- but I WILL vote for him ONLY because he has a D by his name and I can never support the GOP.
She is a business owner. What do you think the corporations will do when Obama increases their taxes?
1. They will look to move their business to another country....resulting in more lost jobs.
2. They will cut jobs to compensate for the decreased profit.
3. They will increase prices to compensate for the loss of profit.
Having a tax cut is all well and good....but what good does it do if you do not have a job?
I see the paid Obama bloggers are busy online tonight. Lynn's endorsement of McCain is sadly just another example of the many Clinton Democrats who have decided to put Country before Party – the Obamabots are obviously running scared and they should be.
McCain/Palin '08
Hillary 2012
Major legislation authored by Sen. Obama:
someone who married into money with the last name de rothchild is calling obama elitist??
good riddens to you. jump on that sinking ship as fast as you can. and don't try to come crawling back when mccain loses!!
irony –
Here's a little news flash (sound familiar) – It's NOT the governors 's job to create jobs.
I'm quite sure most (not all – obviously) Alaskans are quite capable of finding/creating their own jobs
John,
My Blackberry is not working. Do you repair them too, or just invent them?
who? why do we care? How can someone I never heard of have a spokesperson and make the top of the political ticker?
At least she is telling the truth for the people that question if Obama is ready to be President. He came out of nowhere and is very smug and feels he deserves to be President this election. He is going to spend close to 3/4 of a billion $ to try to get it. Listening to him I do not trust him as well. Oh by the way Obama, say hi to Commie Jane Fonda and the has been singer Barbra at your elieist $28,500 per person dinner.....wish I could afford that much for a night out rubbing elbows with the rich and un-famous. McCain/Palin 08
I read on CNN today that Bin Laden is not running al Qaeda's day-to-day operations...The word is that he quit in order to head-up Obama's campaign efforts in the Middle East...
It's really sad to see the race comong down to gender and race. It is 2008 right?
Obama and Hillary have almost no policy differences, whereas the differences between Obama's and McCain's policies are HUGE. I feel sorry for this Hillary supporter. She is not using her mind, obviously.
Wow, I'm impressed. Let me switch my vote to John McCain right away!! haha This story is useless.
This woman sits on the platform committee . . . god I hope she gets railed by Dean. Clearly she doesn't care anything about the party platform!
She makes over 250K right!? What rich, elitist in their right mind would NOT support the team that will give them less taxes. GO FIGURE
Oh dear, the salt-of-the earth Rothchild woman finds Obama "elitist." Well, as Mencken said, "I confess I enjoy democracy immensely. It is incomparably idiotic, and hence incomparably amusing."
Probably because Obama is an elitist, and has given every indication that he is an elitist and no indication that he is not an elitist.
