The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.
Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.
In an interview with CNN this summer, Forester did not hide her distaste for eventual Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
“This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns. “I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”
Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.
And the "rats" start abandoning the sinking Obama ship. They'll be more jumping ship in the near future. Once there were so called solid blue states that are now turning red and Republicans are beginning to make inroads in the congressional election polls. Ain't life grand Dems?
I was a Clinton supporter in the primaries and am now behind Obama. There's too much at stake in this election and Hillary and Obama are more alike then Hillary and McCain, especially on a womans right to choose, healthcare, immigration and taxes...This woman needs to get over the fact that Hillary lost, I did. As in the words of Hillary Clinton, "No way, no how, no McCain, no Palin." If Ms. Forester de Rothschild was a true Clinton supporter and democrat, she'd be voting for Barack Obama. This country cannot survive four more years of the same failed policies.
Elitist? The elitists are are people like her who got upset because Obama wouldnt kiss her butt. Giving money to somebody, and then turning around and supporting a person who is the total opposite of what your candidate stood for tells alot about you.
You Are Just Mad Because Obama Is Going To Raise Your Taxes! Ha Ha Ha!
She just doesn't like that he's black. There's nothing to dislike about Barack Obama. He's charming, intelligent, eloquent, gracious, and down to earth. If you don't like those qualities in a MAN, you've got some hidden hatred for something else. Again, how is he an elitist? He grew up on food stamps! McCain doesn't know how many homes he owns. I wonder how much this endorsement costs McCain.
She sounds like a borderline to me.
The presidency is not a popularity contest, it's about the best person for the job.
She might as well stay on the Republican side, because she WILL NOT be welcomed back. What a misinformed person. It'd be one thing to sit quietly and brood over Obama's nomination, but to publicly endorse the opposing candidate is asinine at best. It's obvious that she's selfishly trying to keep her millions- what an elitist!
Yeah, Obama an elitist. He really brought himself up. Worked hard, and didn't marry into money. This lady, as well as John McCain married into money. Now, they would like to label Obama as an Elitist. So, the Moose killing disfuntional Vice Presidential candidate, is one step closer to the Whitehouse. Wow, we deserve the goverment we have.
You need to stop calling yourself a Democrat, and you need to formally leave the party. Why exactly did you support Clinton in the first place? Clinton and Obama have far more in common with regards to policy than Clinton and McCain. I do not know what your motivations are and what issues are most important to you... but if you were actually paying attention to the messages being delivered by the three major candidates over the past six months, then you would see that a vote for John McCain is the antithesis of a vote for Hillary Clinton. You need to get past your anger towards Obama. He was Hillary's opponent in the primaries... but they're over now. Obama will work to achieve the goals Hillary championed... McCain will not.
Can we say "elitist"?
YES WE CAN!
Hmmm... when your married to an international banker named Sir Evelyn de Rothschild and split time living in New York and London, calling someone like Obama an elitist takes either pure stupidity or lack of reality.
So many of us have had it with the Democrats!! I am an Independent who is all for McCain/Palin. This financial "crisis" was caused by people buying homes they could not afford and overloading credit cards. The sensible people in this country should not have to bail out these losers!!!
Irrelevant.
Oh dear God, she is married to a Rothschild.
Google: rothschild 1913 federal reserve
Scary family and responsible for the current financial destruction of this country.
Hilarious.
I can only hope that should anyone ever wish to call me elitist that their name is "Lynn Forrester de Rothschild"
Is that a joke?
Oh, no, Lynn Forrester de Rothschild, or it is Grand Duchess Forrester de Rothschild didn't warm to me. Whatever shall I do?
I hear she broke an entire bone china tea set during her rage.
There are many others like her who are now planning to vote for McCain and Palin since the democrats made it clear that experience doesn't count.
um, not sure how you can support McCain/Palin reactionary politics and still call yourself a Democrat. You should be ashamed of yourself.
"This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns.
“I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”
When you're right...you're right!
And Barack Obama is ALWAYS right...just ask'em...he'll tell'ya.
McCain/Palin '08
Wow! And John McSame has given her a reason to trust him??? At least come up with a real reason so people do not think that you are a nut case
Well, Hillarys policies must not have meant very much to this woman to support someone with the opposite views.
If McCain wins and then dies in office, how will she feel with Palin being the first women President ?
is she white..then we know the reason...back stabbers!!!!
"I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”
That how MILLIONS of Americans feel about Obama......
Obama will raise her taxes.
My Vote For Obama Will Cancel Out Your Vote For Mccain! Ha Ha Ha!
Next she'll want a bailout too!!! Republicans never met a bailout they didn't like and they'll even take in turncoats ala Lieberman and this Rothschild broad. So she supported Hillary and now McClame, just shows where the money lives!!!
