Trump endorses McCain

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Trump also said Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had rejuvenated the Republican Party."]

(CNN) – Real estate mogul Donald Trump is endorsing Sen. John McCain: “I’ve known him. I like him. I respect him. He’s a smart guy and I think he’s going to be a great president,” Trump said Wednesday night on CNN’s Larry King Live. “I endorse him.”

Watch: Trump backs McCain

Trump also had praise for McCain’s decision to pick Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate. “I think she’s made a tremendous impact. The impact that she has had on rejuvenating almost the Republican Party, it’s been unbelievable.”

Trump also confided that he did not know who Palin was before McCain asked her to join him on the GOP ticket. “As soon as we got to see her and watch her, everybody’s impressed,” said Trump. “That really is to John McCain’s credit. What he did in this choice is amazing. . . . It was a courageous choice.”

Trump may have announced his endorsement last night, but he voted with his pocketbook months ago; campaign finance records show Trump, who has donated to McCain for years, and gave the legal maximum to the Arizona senator in May. The same month, the members of Trump’s family — wife Melania Knauss and children Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric — also gave McCain the maximum individual donation allowed under federal campaign finance laws.

The New York mogul — who said Wednesday night that McCain was winning, but it would be a “different race” if Hillary Clinton were Obama’s running mate — was also an early financial supporter of his home state senator’s presidential campaign.

Do you Obama supporters feel jealous that many successful people endorse McCain? You must be relishing the fact that Obama would tax all over 250k a year and give to people like yourselves that do not deserve that money. Stop feeling sorry for yourself that you work minimum wage jobs and didn't go to college and now feel entitled to money that isn't yours. Move to Europe already, socialism's cool over there. Obama – a national travesty

Great, now they can compare each other's private planes, play a little golf, and toast to the "fundamentally strong economy."

Surprise surprise, another multimillionaire for McSame. You think he is smart huh? Why did he finish number 895 out of 899 students at his college? Yeah the pick of Palin was genious, LOL .I guess the reason you managed to bankrupt a casino was due to your hiring of utterly inexperienced people like Bushwithlipstick. Oh and finally WHO CARES!

I just can't figure out what the Trumps and Rothschilds see in Sen McCain.

He's just not ELITE enough for me.

It must be true what they say; those "multiple-mansion" dwellers sure do stick together.

  9. I'll take 4 more years of "Bush" vs Obama!!

He's a business man who won't do well if the economy or country go in the crapper, so don't dismiss him so fast. He doesn't need the tax breaks you claim McCain will give him, and he knows about how to acheive the American dream.

Race. All race is why he wants McSame and Palin. He would rather a person that he knows nothing about than to vote Obama. What has Palin and McSame shown that they would do more for the country than Obama and Biden. For 18 months all we would hear is that the country does not know Obama but all of that just went out of the window when it came to Palin and if McSame wins that would put her one last breath from president. Top of the line educated black is still not good enough But C student crash and burn McSame and five univ. in six years to graduate Palin is all American. She does not know nothing about nothing. Race. All race.

Used to watch your show, The Appentice.

    Never again, Donald.

TV Sponsors....we will be watching to see which of you are paying for air time for this guy who is sickeningly elitist and out of touch.

Boycott their products. Hit the rich where it hurts.

Meanwhile, McCain doesn't have to worry about getting foreclosed on any of his 7 houses.

The Donald is right. This would be a different race if Hillary was VP, or better, the Dem nominee.

We told you all, the Hillary haters that you would push Obama into defeat.
He was also his arrogant self and could not see that Hillary as his running mate would take care of McCain and Company.
Obama will lose the White House race to McCain but Democrats will take the Congress. McCain has a record of working with them.

Trump should do the PATRIOTIC THING and pay more taxes!!!!!

CNN, is Biden going to make it on your Obama ticker?

Back in the day, those of us who appreciate "real" news would call a publication like this a Commie Rag. Can't wipe our backsides with it, so I guess we just have to not click on the Communist News Network anymore.

    Bet you won't post this!!
