Sen. Barack Obama says homeowners and workers must also receive help. .

(CNN) - Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama on Friday called for an economic plan for working families, saying, "We cannot only have a plan for Wall Street.

"We must also help Main Street," he said.

While "tough new regulations on financial institutions" are needed, the Illinois senator called for an emergency economic plan for working families.

Obama spoke after meeting with his economic advisers in Coral Gables, Florida.

Obama on Friday also backed administration and congressional leaders' efforts to develop a "a more stable and permanent solution" to the U.S. financial crisis.

Obama's statement came after Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox met with congressional leaders to discuss a plan that would allow banks to get rid of bad mortgage-related assets that have been a drag on their balance sheets.

Every time I hear Obama make points that I can agree with regarding domestic issues, just as I think we'll hear what his solutions are, he changes the subject. I am tired of rhetoric from this empty suit.

A plan delivered calmly, intelligently and with careful thought.

So on what side of the issue are Grandpa and Goldilocks this hour? It seems to change at each campaign stop.

Listen to Barack people, McCain is just throwing out anything to make you think he understands what is going on. Obama is taking time out to figure out actually what is going on. A Doctor doesn't just walk into the room and tell you what is wrong with you, he takes the time to discover your illness, then look at any number of solutions to your illness. This is what Obama is doing. It has taken a while to get us into this mess, do you people just want someone who will tell you anything they think you want to hear? This is how we got into this mess, This is why our Nation is very ill. We got this way to a bunch of "BUSHES" that have not known how to run the government the last eight you say Raymond, but YOU are WRONG wasn't the "forty-percent" that you speak of that has brought on this mess, its the 2% that has been given tax breaks and corporate greed that has broken our system down...Furthermore OBAMA isn't the President NOW, and the REPUBLICANS are the ones who have been in office the last eight years, minus two years of Congress....They are ones who created this mess...Barack will do what is best to get us out of it...

Again I do not see where he says how he will pay for his plan. Anyone can come up with a plan but we need to know how you will pay for it. I do not see where all of this money is coming from. You say you want to put new steps in place to watch out for problem like this. What happen to the ones we should of already had. Please don't tell me it was Bush. Maybe try telling me it was Congress and the rip off CEO's and the people who gave you and Chris Dodd money. Maybe Jesse Jackson was right about you Obama. Lets see if CNN post this one.

McCain is the same old politics and the same old economics. We don't need same-old. We need Barack Obama.
