Protesters interrupt Obama

CNN

Protesters holding posters saying Sen. Barack Obama was endorsed by the KKK are escorted from his speech

(CNN) - Barack Obama's campaign rally in Coral Gables, Florida Friday was interrupted by a group of about 10 African-American protesters holding signs that called themselves, "Blacks Against Obama."

The signs said Obama was for gay marriage and abortion, and said his candidacy was "endorsed by the KKK." Another sign said, "Jesse Jackson hates Obama."

Obama originally said the protesters could stay inside the event, but they were escorted out when they would not stop shouting.

I hope news outlets look into the organization "Blacks against Obama"... in Florida? I would put money that it this organization – if it exists – is funded and helped by the Fla Republican party. this brings to mind the busloads of young Republican "activists" who helped shut down the Recount in 2000 – bought and paid for by Republicans.

What a breath of fresh air! Tolerating dissenting voices instead of trying to drown them out with chants of "USA! USA!"

I never comment - usually just read and agree (or disagree) with those that do.

Wow - not sure what to say about that amount of ignorance.....how sad that there are people in this country with access to television and the internet these days that can still convince themselves of something so completely unfounded and ignorant.

    I feel sad for them.....

That cool he finally has protesters, what else is new. I guess enough people in the world did not say they like or agree with him or his polocies. Just remember when you vote. Vote for the best candidate Mr. Obama. That's it.

I guess not all black folks are supporting Sen. Obama because he is black. Maybe the reason why so many people are supporting him is because they agree with his position on the issues. Or may it is because they do not agree with Sen. McCain.

So the -ist that bring up gender, religion, orgin or skin color can stop playing their cards now.

  23. A Woman In California For Obama:

Obviously, these are extremely ignorant people who probably don't even know an election is going on. In spite of what the media says-not all black people support Obama and I respect their decision-but these people just want to be seen. Their signs make absoutely no sense whatsoever and they should spend more time in school.

Vote for real change. Vote Obama/Biden '08

How much did John McCain, the KKK and Jesse Jackson pay these youngsters? They all looked too young to have any other motive for their actions other than money. I am sure they were ALL paid implants.
