Protesters interrupt Obama

CNN

Protesters holding posters saying Sen. Barack Obama was endorsed by the KKK are escorted from his speech

(CNN) - Barack Obama's campaign rally in Coral Gables, Florida Friday was interrupted by a group of about 10 African-American protesters holding signs that called themselves, "Blacks Against Obama."

The signs said Obama was for gay marriage and abortion, and said his candidacy was "endorsed by the KKK." Another sign said, "Jesse Jackson hates Obama."

Obama originally said the protesters could stay inside the event, but they were escorted out when they would not stop shouting.

I am not suprised, and I am African American. Just because Obama is black does not mean 100% of blacks will vote for him. But in my opinion everyone should be voting for him!!!

As usual, a report with absolutely no investigation. You might just as well have permitted the GOP-paid protesters to write this entry. What ever happened to serious journalism/

Finally some exposure for the courageous black Americans who aren't willing to be lead like sheep by this anti-Christian racist. The only thing black about Obama is his father.

One more distraction from the implosion of the McCain/Palin campaign.

Now we learn that Palin may not have paid taxes on some of her income. The McCain camp will block the release of Palin's tax returns just as they're blocking the investigation by the Alaska legislature. Not only does Palin engage in secrecy and cronyism (just like the Bush administration), she refuses to acknowledge there is a balance of powers that includes the legislative branch (like the Bush administration). In addition to soaking the state of Alaska for per diem payments while she was at home and travel expenses for her family, it appears that she's also a tax evader.

    #1 – this isn't worth reporting
#2 – I wouldn't be surprised with as much scandal & corruption that is currently going around in the McSame and "Above The Law" Palin campaign, if these weren't paid off actors.
    #3 – Obama/Biden 08.

  19. Some honor

I'm not going to make a comment that attacks either candidate or supports what these protesters stood for, but I will say it was honorable for him to stay they could stay at the event. He was very willing to let them be present and was understanding to their opinion, as long as they allowed him to speak also.

That's honorable. I do feel the GOP would have just tried to rip down their signs, chant something over them, and they would have been taking out of the event without McCain trying to recognize they were even there.

  23. A black male who wants Obama to lead the nation, not specific groups

Sorry protestors, Obama is not going for President of Black people or straight people or whatever. He is going to be the President of the UNITED states. He was NOT endorsed by the KKK - that is an internet rumor. Jesse Jackson hating Obama is a bit of a strech - more like jealousy or envy. Anyway, go vote for McCain if you think he is a better choice. This is a free country where you can vote for whoever you want in the Presidential election.n You think he has your best interest at heart? If so, you are all more foolish than I thought. I am happy they threw you out of the rally. You are divisive and foolish people.

This is sickening. How stupid can these people be? As an African-American I am ashamed, but I am not surprised. We, as African-Americans are our worst enemies. When one of us rises to fame, there is always one of us, brother or sister, to bring us down. Get over yourselves. Fortunately, these people are a minority.
