Obama 'inclined' to debate

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/09/24/art.debate.gi.jpg caption="Obama wants to press on with the debate."](CNN) - Barack Obama is 'inclined" to go ahead with the debate Friday night, campaign sources tell CNN.

McCain said Wednesday the debate should be postponed if the economic bailout has not passed congress by that time.

Obama is expected to make a statement around 4:30 p.m. ET.

The candidates can do nothing on Friday to stop the insanity in the economic market. They can have impact when in office, and we need to make the right choice. The debate absolutely should be held as scheduled. McCain is attempting to back out because he has run such a miserable campaign, made a horrible pick for a VP runningmate and doesn't want to look stupid on Friday.

YES! Good, Obama! Don't fall under McShame's pathetic, obvious traps! He's afraid and he knows that he's falling behind and this debate will fuel your momentum!

McCain needs to debate himself first anyway. Is he for the Bush tax cuts or against them? For off-shore drilling or against it? For ethics reform or against it? For deregulation or against it?

For straight talk or against it?

Right! McCain wanted to pull another fast one on the American people, a gimmick that like he picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate. His campaign is going nowhere. After all, the Wall Street problem is not merely a crisis from random occurrence, but a systemic breakdown of government oversight. It is more than ever that it needs to hear what the candidates will say about how they will do if elected. A presidential debate cannot be delayed. Bring all the issues and solutions out in the debate, so that everyone can hear them and be able to make informed decision in November. I don’t think it is time to make deals in the backroom of the Congress.

The debate should not be postponed. We need to see how these 2 candidates behave and think under pressure. A president must be able to deal with more than one crisis at a time.

Dont let Mccain change the rules in mid-game!! He is scared of all of the new poll numbers and wants to do anything he can to change the debate and slow the bleeding!

McCain doesn't call the shots! The Debate is on! Alternatively, send Sarah to debate Obama!!! After all, doesn't the GOP believe she is more qualified for commander in chief than Obama!

    PALIN IS SEQUESTERED.

    NOW McCAIN IS SEQUESTERED.

WAS IT INFLUENCE PEDDLING ALLEGATIONS YESTERDAY OR BIDEN'S SPEECH THAT SENT McCAIN UNDER HIS BLANKET! i'D LIKE TO HEAR ANSWERS FROM McCAIN.

McCain remeinds me more and more of Peter Sellers as "Chauncey Gardener" in the old movie.
