Yes, Russia should not invade a sovereign nation when not defending itself. That is like Hitler moving into Poland, or the US moving into Iraq. So I agree with McCain that such action violates established international standards between states.

Obama thinks that nobody has been paying attention, I guess? My recollection is that it took him three tries to finally speak out against the Russian invasion of Georgia; he is saying that he immediately spoke out against it. Hopefully McCain will call him on his fabrications.

Listening to McCain – that is really rich from a Country that invaded Iraq for oil.

That's the actual reason you went over to support Georgia is because of that pipeline to the Caspian Sea. That's also why you guys are also in Afghanistan.

We do need to review the relationship and attitude towards Russia. But we also need to be aware that Russia is not the same as Communist USSR. It is emerging from the ashes to be a new superpower at the expense of democracy and independence of other countries. Obama is right on it.

"Kissinger, speaking Monday at George Washington University along with four other former U.S. State Department secretaries, said the next president should initiate high-level discussions with Iran "without conditions," ABC News reported."

Guess Barack wasn't "parsing" words, John!

This is absolutely correct. We are in a new day and age. Obama has the diplomatic experience and the global perspective to address 21st century concerns. I fear Mccain would have a hard time even understanding 20th century ones.
