Schneider: Obama's task is to convince voters he's a safe pick

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/09/26/art.obama.smile.ap.jpg caption=]
OXFORD, Mississippi (CNN) - On foreign affairs and national security, all Barack Obama has to do is convince people he's a safe alternative to John McCain. There are still a lot of doubts about his abilities to be commander-in-chief. McCain has to intensity those doubts concerning Obama. On the economy, Obama's remarks will sound like the following "Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush" McCain won't mention President Bush tonight. McCain's line on the economy will be "tax, tax, tax, tax."

I just love that one of the three people speaking can pronounce the name of Iraq correctly.

Hehehe is his name Tom, Jim or John? Obama had a couple of slip ups on his name, but I still think he's doing better than what's-his-name... 🙂 Go Obama!

I would feel more safe with Obama than McCain because at least Obama thinks before he reacts and McCain reacts and then thinks.

Why does McCain refuse to look at Obama? Is this how we want someone to govern on an international level.

  15. NOT VOTING FOR MCCAIN

America knows McCain will say the surge worked and the "world" is better off without Saddam, but should we have went to war in the 1st place should our efforts have been place somewhere else?

The problem with Afganistan is that Taliban is hiding in Pakistan where we are not allowed to go. More troops will not solve that problem.
