Schneider: Obama's task is to convince voters he's a safe pick

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/09/26/art.obama.smile.ap.jpg caption=]
OXFORD, Mississippi (CNN) - On foreign affairs and national security, all Barack Obama has to do is convince people he's a safe alternative to John McCain. There are still a lot of doubts about his abilities to be commander-in-chief. McCain has to intensity those doubts concerning Obama. On the economy, Obama's remarks will sound like the following "Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush" McCain won't mention President Bush tonight. McCain's line on the economy will be "tax, tax, tax, tax."

OMG . . . don't start defining 'strategic'. We're going to return to the debate with Hillary over 'denounce' and 'reject.'

Obama, saying the same old thing on the war on Iraq. Don't tells us what should be done tells us specifics on how it will be doen. Lacks knowledge on foreign affairs and wars.

Obama sounds more on the right track by going to Afghanistan to get Bin Laden. It looks like McCain is biting his tongue to keep his anger down.

Obama makes a stand. He's good. I like his performance so far.
Don't forget, that's McCain's favourite debate-theme and in my opinion, he will not win any gain or momentum today!
    McCain's performance is quiet poor...

Obama sounds like lot more prepared on the rational than McCain. McCain sounds more emotional.

This is suppose to be McCain's turf, but they are doing about even.

McCain better pick it up with the remaining half hour because he is not going to do well on the next two domestic debates.
