You people that believe Democrats are socialist are complete idiots...lets see you clam to be an evangelical Christian, but have not been to church in years. You are a NRA Member in good standing, but clutch your wallet everytime you see a black man, you think Rush Limbaugh (who is from Missouri) is the second coming of Christ...

Excuse me. Why unslt our intelligence with a photo of a bar as representing "Main Street, USA". I have a better idea, how about a suburban street with a bunch of foreclosure signs on the lawns, or a gfas station with a sign that says, "No Gas", or a shuttered factory building in Ohio. That's Main Street USA today, and we have our budds in the Republican Party who have run the country (into the ground) for the past eight years to thank. We may be depressed, but we are not all alcoholics!

To Brenda–you don't need to watch CNN–go to Foxnews. Believe me, it is worth the money to get unbiased reporting!

St. Louis is very polarized – Sarah Palin would fit right in with the white natives. However, as of late there are more open-minded, non-natives for them to contend with... It's not a GOP given anymore.

There's no arguing with conservatives. Seriously, some scientists did a study. The more you use facts and reason to counter misinformation the more likely a conservative will believe the misinformation. You are never going to change a conservative's mind because they are inherently close-minded, not open to new ideas, hence conservative. So it's better to address your facts and reason to independents.

I'm not sure if all these crazies that come out against Obama with just plain nonsense are just trying to " pull chains " for laughs or if they are typing inbetween snorts, but, either way, they are just plain idiots and should be just ignored. They do not vote anyway. They do not work, they just sit in front of the computer all day trying to stir things up. Ignore them America. They are " losers ".
