ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blamed some of the U.S. financial crisis on Wall Street during the vice presidential debate.

"You darn right it was the predator lenders," said Palin. "There was greed and corruption on Wall Street."

Watch: Palin: Economy is hurting

Biden blamed some of the crisis on deregulation policies that John McCain believes in.

"He voted for deregulation and that is why we are in the crisis that we are in," said Biden.

She may think it is cool and "mavericky" to not answer a direct question that somebody asks her in a debate.

Personally, I think it's obnoxious and arrogant. Whatever Palin may think of Gwen Ifil, her refusal to answer a simple question shows her disdain and contempt for the American people.

Somebody stop the fight! Palin is bleeding all over the ring.....

Wall Street is the ultimate cause of the economic crisis we are facing currently. Wall Street has lent entirely TOO much money to foreign investors and homeland based corporations who pay their CEOs nearly $200M each year. THIS is why we are in the situation we are in now.

Why are McCain and Palin so against tax on those who make over $250,000?

Strange watching the graph on the bottom. Women seem unfavorable to Sarah Palin, whereas men don't necessarily. I guess women either are afraid of another woman in charge, or they just feel the need to be subservient to men. So far from what I have heard, if Sarah Palin had to step in, it would be fine for me.

Palin clearly does not understand the issue and also contridicted herself. You can't blame Wall Street and then turn around and say, but we need to spend within our budget. A better answer would have been that both sides are too blame. Wall Street wouldn't have had a market for sub-prime loans if people wasn't a market and people weren't educated.

Why is Palin not sticking to what the questions are? Can anyone tell me? Is this some sort of strategy? If so it is not appealing to me. She is try to keep a happy face on for the whole time and it is not making me budge!!! Its all coaching and annoying.

She seemed coached to mention "private sector" and "family" as close together as possible in all her sentences. Sort of like proximity-scoring in Google searches!
