Martin: Raise the bar for Palin and Biden

(CNN)–Expectations are high for Palin AND Biden. Many of you read my commentary this week on CNN.com and I haven’t changed my opinion.
I’m tired of Washington journalists continuing to say that the expectations are low, and the bar even lower, for Gov. Sarah Palin.
And the same goes for Sen. Joe Biden.
One of these two will be Vice President of the United States. How in the world do we tell our children every day to have high expectations in the classroom, but we should expect the vice president candidates to not raise their game? Nonsense.
It’s time for Biden and Palin to show America what they are really made of.

Palin is nothing more than lipgloss.
I want someone to tell Sarah Palin that "cute" does not a vice president make. This woman is an insult to Joe Biden's intelligence.
Biden is so many levels above Palin on foreign policy that it's ridiculous that Palin is even debating him.
Palin hasn't answered hardly if any questions asked. She is totally out of her element. Most of her answers make me want to start snoring.
She is frigtening. Absolutely frightening. She cannot answer simple, straight forward questions that I could answer. She is so out of her league. I never thought we would have someone worse than Cheney or Dan Quayle.

Her voice alone is like fingernails on a chalk board. I would rather slide down a banister full of razor blades than listen to this buffoon. You know the world is laughing.

It is apparent that her handlers helped her study her hot topics throughout the week and when another topic is brought up, she immediately goes to what she was brainwashed with. YOU HAVE TO BE ON YOUR FEET! How does she not realize that she is babbling nonsense?

Biden has stated clearly several debate winning responses....about IRaq and Obama's correct decisions...McCain's war related decision which have been wrong. She keeps getting snotty when she doesn't have answer. McCain has never won a war...how does he know that Palin?
She is winding down and Biden is getting stronger.
Sarah has not answered any question effectively. It is painful watching her.

Why does no one correct her pronunciation of the word nuclear??? We have suffered through 8 years of "nucular".
the debate is continuing as I write this...but am just wondering if Palin took speech lessons from the moron in the white house..i simply don't know, if she and mcain are in the white house, I can endure even four more years of hearing a nitwit not pronounce nuclear correctly...has anyone noticed...just like the moron, she pronounces 'nuclear'..'new-que-lar' instead of 'new-kleee-er'...gawd..will it ever end....

I think that sarah palin should get some more experience on what she is doing right now but if she doesnt and somehow she wins she'll have alot of trouble ahead....I think she should just wait another 4 years before doing all this.
