ST LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) - Palin is going after Biden over his comments that the wealthy should pay more taxes as a patriotic move. The Alaska governor has come to this debate fully armed. Biden is responding with knowledgeable comebacks.
The senator from Delaware is also selling fairness. Fairness is an issue that works when the economy is bad. When the economy is bad, as it is now, voters believe the system isn't fair. It's very hard to sell fairness when the economy is well.

Funny how in WWII helping to pay for the war WAS patriotic, and now it is supposed to be patriotic to run up debt? Now we are supposed to deny the funding to our soldiers and call that denial patriotic?
I am deeply annoyed how the moderator is allowing Gov. Palin to change the topic of the question each time she chooses. The point of a debate is to respond to questions at hand not change the topic when it suits your needs.
If she cant answer the question on topic then why is she here!

I do not believe what I am hearing from Palin. She has avoided most of her questions , and is pushing this soccer mom attitude. Sorry I want some one that can think on their feet not after 2 days of coaching. I can clearly hear the coaching and the tactic to answer only to topics that she was coached in.

She isn't answering the questions. She has several pat statements memorized and goes back to them no what the moderator is asking.
