Bush speaks on bailout bill

Bush is scheduled to leave the White House at 3:15 p.m. Friday.
The House approved the historic bailout legislation by a vote of 263-171.

Sarah Palin says the Constitution gives the VP extra powers over the Senate just like Dick Cheney has claimed. The Constitution does no such thing. Why is this outrageous comment not being reported. Sarah Palin is another Dick Cheney minus the IQ. Give me a break.
McCain and Palin are far worse and more dangerous than even Bush and Cheney, the worst administration in history.

You know, that's pretty funny because I can tell you that my parents believed that Presidents Clinton time was pretty good. And by the way, they vote Republican that I can tell you, LOL!! They thought those weren't bad times and as a matter of fact, it was pretty good. My parents may be bogus but they are smart you know...

Wake up America, don't put another president in office like Bush who had no major accomplishments to speak of before taking office. McCain is a hero and has worked both sides of the isle. Vote for someone with experience not someone that is an american idol.
I do not know why Republicans including John McCain keep silent. This mess was created by Bill Clinton and then Chris Dodd, Barnery Franks and of course Barack Obama. They want to escape from the back door because they are benefited immensely with taxpayers money. It is surprising that people cannot realize and Barack is moving ahead with the polls. One thing is 100% sure that the democrats who are int eh amjority in congress for last two years and Barack Obama are responsible for this bailout. Barack Obama keeps talking about all goodies but he is dangerous for our country. Mark my words.

Then why are we asking every American to pay back uncollected debts from people who freely took their own loans?
Why don't we take the $700 billion and mail respective amounts to each one of those people who defaulted on their loans.

Impeach Bush....he has put this country in more debt than the last 42 presidents combined.
Then confiscate all of his properties and use the Texas ranch as a National cemetary for soldiers killed in Iraq.....something like Arlington National Cemetery.
It would serve as a memorial for those brave soldiers who died honorably in the line of duty ...serving this country, and also as a reminder that absolute power corrupts absolutely, even in the presidency.
Another sham bill giving billions of taxpayer money to big corporations while many of us are struggling to make ends meet. I wish my poor decisions were rewarded with enormous amounts of cash!!

This is a hoot when your running mate Biden said a while back that Obama has no experience not ready to lead and yet people on the left think he is a great guy to be VP.
Biden even came out saying Palin was just as smart and strong as himself on the issues. Now if he is so wise would that mean Palin could do just as good a job at VP as you believe he can?
You Democrats just hate real facts and issues. When facts get in the way you call people names and dismiss their ideas. The point is most here would vote for Osama if he was running for president with a D in front of his name. the other point is this most of you just have no clue how to live your own life and want the government to do it for you.
Its sad to see so many lazy dumb people keep voting for Democrats because they have don’t want to do any hard work. I guess its better to let someone else pay your way though life while you are busy watching American Idol.
Professor – If the title had been "Bush to sign bailout bill quickly", the meaning would have been taken as "Bush is going to write his name extremely fast". I am not an English professor, nor do I care about proper grammar, as long as I'm getting the point across correctly.
You could be right about the grammatical error, but does it really matter when your version would have portrayed the wrong meaning, while CNN's version portrayed the intent perfectly? You should also keep in mind, its a headline – they need to get the point across in as few words as possible.
Typical McCain supporter, thinking he/she has it right, but outside of the fantasy world they live in, any clear thinking American knows it is wrong.
