Obama campaign rejects Palin 'terrorist' gibe

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/10/05/art.boflag1005.ap.jpg caption="Gov. Palin said Saturday that Sen. Obama sees America as 'imperfect.'"]
(CNN) - Barack Obama's campaign has quickly rejected Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's claim that he associated "with terrorists who targeted our own country."

Palin attacked Sen. Obama on Saturday for his brief political relationship with Bill Ayers, a founding member of the radical Weather Underground, which was involved in several bombings in the early 1970s, including attacks on the Pentagon and the Capitol. Obama was a child at the time of the bombings.

Obama and Ayers, now a university professor, have met several times since 1995, when both orked with a non-profit group trying to raise funds for a school improvement project and a haritable foundation. CNN's review of project records found nothing to suggest anything nappropriate in the volunteer projects in which the two men were involved.

A CNN Fact Check found Palin's charge to be false.

Old stale tried and failed dirty politics of McCain-Palin has reared it's ugly head again. No worries the American people will surely reject them once again. It's ALL about the economy stupid !

I am glad Obama is revealing truths and staying focused on what the American people need !

Our country already is in the hands of a terrorist! The Democratic Party voted him in as their candidate. His name is Barack Hussein Obama...! Are you people blind...! He will be the next President of The United States...! Our Country will be doomed in his control...! And I will be proud to say, I did not vote for him....!

I am proud to say, as a former Democrat, and one of Hillary Clinton's 18 million supporters, will vote for experience, trust, and a true HERO of our country...John McCain...!

    Hillary Rodham Cllinton 2012.....!

It's indeed stunning to see the length the McCain/Republicans...are going to change the focus of what should be debated.....which is the economy!!!! Americans know McCain and the Republicans are partly...if not completely responsible for the policies which as brought us this economic trouble of unprecedented dimensions.

Hope...McCain will yank the leash on the "attack/pitbull dog in lipstick" before it cause irreversible damage to his chances ( whatever little it may be) of winning the presidency

    Obama, hold straight and true.
Can you imagine the Palin Puppet as your commander and chief ?The republican camp just completely discredited themselves and smeared their own camp into into oblivion.
If McCain had any guts he would fire his spin doctors and apologize.

How low can the McCain/Palin campaign sink?
Instead of trying to come up with solutions to overcome the present economic dilemma, they are resorting to the lowest imaginable lies and distortions of Barack Obama's character.
This does NOT SOLVE the problems, but it does help to sink the
    McCain/Palin ship.
She does a tremendous amount of damage to the stature of women in politics. Nobody needs a bimbo, (wink, wink, ya' betcha, Sarah) on such a responsible platform. Hillary Clinton has more brains in her little finger than Palin has in her head.

Sarah Palin has lost the little credibility/respect that I had for her. She just plain disgusts me now. She has the audacity to accuse Mr. Obama of having "Terrorist" connections, when she should be at home taking care of her special needs child, instead of talking about her and Todd travelling to Virginia to salvage what little support they have there. Who's gonna take care of your kids if both you and your husband are campaigning Palin? Nice motherly skills there...

Palin chides Biden for looking back at the eight years that have gotten us in this mess and the next two days she looks back 40. As I said she has cue cards to rely on not knowledge and/or common sense.

And America rejects a presidential candidate with ties to radicals who are unrepentant about setting bombs against American targets.

Todd Palin registered to vote @ Age 25! Was member of the Alaska Seperatist Party for over a decade and became an "independent" after Sarah got elected Mayor of Wasilla! And what plans does Sarah and Mcpain have for education when Todd refused to go to college? He was busy getting drunk with DWIs and planning to elope with Sarah that he abandoned college plans....That's a bad example for the younger generation.

palin should be more concerned with her own troopergate scandal instead of spreading lies. mccain-palin has become desperate. they will resort to using lies instead of giving americans a plan for mccain's presidency. the way a man runs his campaign predicts how he will run his preseidency. bush used these same tactics against kerry. you see how the bush worked out for the american people.

why did he announce his intention to run for pres, at Ayers house? How come his first fund raiser was at Ayers house? IN a 1000 times at Wright's church OHB never heard any of Wrights comments? How come Raines is one of his advisers after scamming 90mil from freddie mac? Why won't he hand over a legitimate birth certifiacate? His school records show him a muslim after his adoption, and a citizen of Kenya.Too many questions about this man, not because he is black but because he is not truthful, and trustworthy.

I'm getting real tired of the sexism in the campaign. The Republicans will use her as the attack dog because they thing the Democrats are afraid to go after her. Why should she be treated any differently than a male candidate who would say these outrageous lies. Go after her and her record with no mercy. She wil only be treated like any male who spread this stuff..

The good thing is that after two Bush elections we have seen and heard it all. There is no way on God's green earth that the Republicans can come up with ANYTHING to alter the Obama/Biden landslide that is just around the corner.

And to all these Republican bot bloggers Like Cosmos Rocks and Ohio for McCain saying bizzare things I suspect you are both just pathetic examples of people who are so inept and unable to think clearly that you go through life spewing hate.

Everyone–don't accept CNN's recitation of the "facts" and CNN's "conclusions". Think for yourself, and look at alternative news sources for the true story. When Ayers was let off of his criminal bombing charges on a technicality, he left the courthouse saying, "I'm guilty as sin and free as a bird. Ain't America great?!" His wife, Bernandine Dorhn, expressed great excitement and admiration for the Sharon Tate murders by the Charles Manson gang. She thought they were cool and even adopted a three-tong symbol as a homage to the murderers' use of a fork during the killing spree. Ayers' and Dohrn's radical philosophy included, "Children...bring the revolution home, kill your parents." I'm not making this stuff up–check it out for yourelf. National Review Online has several excellent articles on the true nature of Ayers, Dorhn, and Obama's long-term, high-level, multi-million dollar relationship with Ayers.

We have 30 days until the election and this is the best the McCain campaign can come up with, this is all they have to run on, fear and smear. What about the economy, what about healthcare, what about the energy crisis, oh I'm sorry, McCain doesn't have anything on these issues.

He and Palin proved that in the last two debates. I have a little news flash for the McCain campaign, the American people fell for the smear and fear idea eight years ago and we still regret it to this day. I really do not believe it will happen again, I really do not belive we could be that stupid three times in a row. If we are then we deserve what we get be it good or bad.
