You betcha!!the people in nashville doesn't really seem to be swept by the political tsunami as the case in many parts of the nation.I've been there, and can confess those people have alot to worry about other than the election.

How can Senator Obama beat John McCain at this debate? Real simple... Tell it like he has been telling it all along. Give us details.
Give us simple answers so the average voter can understand the details in his great plans for the United States. Above all, be presidental and when McCain blows his cool, be gracious and calm. We all know what John McCain stands for. Lies, Lies, more Lies. Anything Bush says John McCain says "ditto". He isn't going to say anything different tomorrow night. He'll try to convince the voters that Senator Obama is all kinds of terriable things. We know the truth about Senator Obama. Thats why we will vote for him come November 4th. to be our President.

Yes. Vandy fans are excited about their undefeated football team. But I don't think that they are too excited about CNN identifying a University of Tennessee orange tailgate tent instead of one of the Vandy black and gold!

Having lived in Nashville for years, it is no surprise that it is still the hardcore, no-questioning, Republican land. There is definitely a strong growing trend of young, committed Christians who are supporting Obama, based on their actual analytical skills and their Christian values for directing attention to the needs of the poor and needy.

    Lu, well said.
Look at who is espousing more Chrisitan behavior... certinaly is not the McCain Palin team.. the ones who wear their 'religion' on their sleeves.

Palin is the one to talk about character. She of all people who is currently under investigation of abusing her power. Something we don't need with Wall St taking us "simple minded" people to the cleaners. And McCain with the Keating 5. He's straight up guilty, just manage to bribe whoever into keeping it under wraps for him. That is the poorest of judgement and still ran with those same polices that helpef further caused the problem today. For the Repug supporters, what the hell you guys smoking? It's obvious you guys want to continue with corrupt people running the Washington. At least Obama hasn't been under any investigation. I'm not saying he's perfect, but at least he managed not to get caught.

I am so glad to look at other web pages and find that your polls are skewed as they always are for the liberal elite. In Nashville, we have something there that most of Americans do not, we have character. Obama is courting known terroists abroad and alike, and we have become a country that is more worried about our check book than the direction of our country. We will go down the path of degredation again for the sake of you folks who can not seem to understand that you must grow up and become responsible. You are always looking for someone to take care of you and that is sad. I hope you see that a biased media, is really undermining America and our voting system. I feel sorry for the direction of our young adults and what you give them to see as you make them pawns in a game. Thank you.

Actually, It is the truth Obama has ties to the saudi govt (they helped him get into harvard) and trust me you will all regret it if Obama wins, just remember somebody warned you all, anyway if he loses another civil war will break out, so either way we all have hell to pay, so i'll start by praying for you all, untill you start praying for yourselves.

God Bless you all and God Bless America

I hope that these polls wil actually pan out to be true come Nov4th. There are al lot of people who say that CNN is for Obama. I don't totally agree. It just so happens that the polls show him higher. FOX news and MSNBC are largely biased also. i mean really, actual PEOPLE work at all of the news stations..go figure there might be different views and opinions. ;)Nashville is a beautiful place with beautiful people. I hope that this debate turns out to be another milestone for the Obama/Biden camp. This is a great place to have a debate. This shoudl be interesting....

its sad that the american people have to be submitted to this trash of diging up dirt to show the the mccane campain has gone to the dogs. i m sorry i was a vietnam vet and remember the news reports that flashed that mccain broke in the camp and proclamed that the americans where the warmongers in that war. he hasnt changed he s a traider and a lier and he fits right in with his lipstick moose
she couldnt tell the truth if it hit her in the face so what has the country got to look forward to if there elected
i m sorry the country does deserve better and at least Obama will own up to his mistakes
time to move on and let the country grow again instead of being blasted with this bull Mccain my cow died and i dont need your bull,

  22. Wanted: Leader, Not wanted: Hypocrites

Houston, we have a problem. We have too many voters who will go to the polls and only vote for the candidate because he is of the particular party that is anti-gay, anti-abortion, pro-gun. We live in a society of hypocrites who are fornicating on Saturday nights but are singing praises on Sunday morning- but at least they are not gay. There is so much hypocrisy in our society, particulary conservative christians who are so racist they give you that fake smile at work or church, but hell would break loose if you were dating their child. They dislike Hispanics and Blacks, and would never, ever elect a black president even if he was the most qualified person. They don't care about what is best or right or biblical, they are holding on to their deep hatred that is really hard to mask- it comes out. These people are raising children and making loud noises influencing other non-thinkers. Save us on Nov 5th when the ballots are counted and we have these not so bright people making decisions for us. Oops, that already happened four and eight years ago.

McCain's campaign has really gone dirty the past few days. Hopefully the American people will stand up against these dirty tactics November 4.
