I lived in Franklin, TN (one of the Nashville burbs). It was rated one of the most conservative counties in the US last election. They are so biased, that every time I went to my polling place, the sign-in sheet binder read "Republican Primary".

This will only be another farce. The media will claim after the debate that Obama won the debate just like they did between Biden and Palin. Even though Palin won running away they said the more experienced Biden showed her up. Well McCain and Palin is far more experienced than Obama. I'm tired of all the media hoop la over an unqualified , lying, gangster in the likes of OBAMA. McCAIN/PALIN 08

28 more days of listening to all the crap will have taken it's toll on the American people, and will have caused more distrust than any previous election except when Bush stole the election in "04". I hope the American people remember who went negative first, even after he said he would not run his campaign like that. Desparation causes people to do desparate things, even deceptive things. They are called "LIES". I don't want an outright liar as my president. We have enough sicko world leaders that lie on a regular basis. They are considered to have the least amount if character on the planet. Well let the McCain camp join those ranks. What sickens me even more is that they do it with the bible clenched between their teeth. Religion is so dangerous.

    LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!

    MY TAKE ON TONIGHT
McCain will be mostly character bashing, we can see from many of his erratic decisions that he has no strategy e.g. his views on the economy, his acceptance speech, his VP pick, his VP's view on the economy. His decisions are erratic as we'll see in the debate tonight as he tries to reiterrate the information crammed into his head by his team. How can people support McCain on the basis of war victory when he's having a hard time gaining a victory as President due to lack of strategy.
As for Obama, if he doesn't get too caught up in clearing up every accusation McCain throws, and stick to his views and his strategy for fixing the economy. Then he should be fine.

In this day and age, I cannot believe some of you still believe that Obama is a terrorist. McCain and Palin lie so easily I cannot understand how anyone could believe anything that comes out of their mouths.

I sure do like the gain Obama has made in the electoral map. My husband and I have never contributed to a campaign before, but he says send Obama $25.00 and we are on a fixed income. I just hope our state of NC goes for obama. Sarah sure was doing some dirty attacking yesterday and low and behold Obama gains points. Sarah keep it up we like to see the gains going for Obama. I just hope the Debate goes well to night for Obama. I just hope The Mccain camp hasnt prepared the questions for the audience to ask that will favor Mccain. Like the forum out in california where John was supposed to be in a cone of silence and he answered the questions before they were even finished. The audience was mostly rebulbicans.

I hope Tom Brokaw is as unbiased as Gwen Ifill was in the VP debates. I suspect he is going to do everything he can to help McCain. Let's see if he has character and integrity.

OF COURSE, Nashville is what THE REAL AMERICA is all about. All of you hippie druids on the east and west coasts can bite the big one. You liberal druids are about to see a major awakening, starting with McCain SPANKING Obama at the debate tonight. You all can steal yard signs as your cheating party does every election, commit vote fraud by the thousands, give illegal money to your Democrat campaigns, and shuck and jive the truth about Obama...it won't matter. IT IS ALWAYS THE TRADITIONAL, CONSERVATIVE, CENTER-RIGHT AMERICANS WHO MAKE OR BREAK ELECTIONS, and WE ARE WAKING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The American people have obvious choices. Whomever we vote for would not be a chance occurance. We will have ourselves to blame whomever we choose so we should lift ourselves above the mudslinging and sentiments and focus on what means the most to us all.

In that way we'll be able to deal better with whatever we are given by the next president.

Look at what George Bush has done to us!!!!! We voted him in. We should be ready to pay.

Questioning Obama's patriotism is another form of racism. Which Palin played the race card in her comments about "him not seeing America like the rest of us". That is a racist statement that has been perpetrated on black people for centuries. In some ways, it is true because America has been very different for blacks as it has for whites. Blacks have not enjoyed all the privileges that whites have. Think about it, if someone treated you with disdain as America has treated black people, would you like them or not?

Obama does not have the experience to run our country, the democratic ticket should be reversed and then you might have a chance.

  17. America think for you

I am telling you America the GOP ticket choose to talk trash than address the issues at hand. They are out of touch and we need to tell them that we are not stupid. Politics is the last thing that we need right now. W e need someone who can address the economic issue facing the country. Politics will not put money in our pocket or pay our bills. The GOP ticket chose to ingore the economics issue and talk about nonsense issues. Barack Obama/Joseph Biden know your struggle when it comes to the economy that is why they choose to talk about bringing a solution to this crisis. America the final score is in your hand and you must score the right goal.

If Obama just keeps doing what he has been doing alll along, he will win this debate. I still haven't heard a single thing out of McCain and his pitbull telling us how they are going to change the direction this country is going in. Obama's website has details on how they will take America in the right direction.

DonĀ“t be surprised that Obama even has more margin than what you see on polls today. Obama is going to win big!

McCain supporters love to spout off about how polls dont matter, and how Kerry, and Gore were leading, yet they fail to mention Clinton was leading also, and he won 2 terms. It is more important to look at how Obama is GAINING ground, not only leading.
