Obama's 'blind ambition' targeted

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/10/10/art.mccainad.cnn.jpg caption="The McCain campaign is targeting Obama's connection to Ayers in a new ad."](CNN) - John McCain is continuing his effort to associate Barack Obama with 1960's radical William Ayers, launching a national campaign ad Friday that accuses the Illinois senator of "blind ambition."

"Obama's blind ambition. When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition. Bad judgment," the ad's narrator says.

Watch: Don't trust a 'Chicago politician' McCain says

Congressional liberals fought for risky sub-prime loans. Congressional liberals fought against more regulation," the narrator continues. "Then, the housing market collapsed costing you billions. In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment."

Watch: The latest McCain campaign ad targets Obama's 'bind ambition'

The spot is the latest in a series of attempts by the Arizona senator’s campaign to raise questions about Obama's past ,and portray the Democratic presidential nominee as less than candid about his political origins.

Yea, and John McCain has no ambition whatsoever!

I mean, he doesn't even WANT to be president, as his pathetic excuse for a campaign clearly shows.

Umm- yeah let’s focus on this rather than the economy cause that seems like a really good idea. What's your plan McCain? Get elected and continue to blame Obama for everything? This is just ridiculous, pathetic and petty.

Blame the economy on Bush. Hate McCain. Hate Palin. Take Zero Responsibility for the your own actions. Don't point the finger where it belongs, CEO's and stupid people taking on house notes they can't afford. Forget that Barack Obama has a history of poor judgement. He is for off shore drilling now. He ran on a ticket of change and picked a 35 year insider for the VP. The banter on these blogs sounds like 100,000 Rosanne's on Bill Maher. Talk about out of touch. I'm tired of the Bush bashing. He's not running. Democrats have been in charge the last 2 years. Isn't there fault either. Bash me. Bash Bush. Bash McCain. Bash Palin. Pro Choic... Save the Whales? You're all a constant contradiction of self and morales. Stop blogging. NO OBAMA 08'.

Who is John McClain? Answer – one of the Keating Five. He was disciplined by the Senate – NOT cleared.

Who is Sara Palin? Answer – long time Alaska Independence Party supporter. She spoke to the Party in 2007 and 2008 – and attended meetings with her husband – who unlike the other spouses has never been interviewed by even the Republican-friendly Fox News.

One important story that has been overlooked in the media is Sarah Palin's long relationship with the largest third party in her state, the Alaskan Independence Party. Sarah accompanied her husband to the party's convention in 1994, and although she never joined the party – she has been a registered Republican since 1982 – her husband, Todd Palin, was a member from 1995 to 2002. Governor Palin herself warmly greeted this year's Alaskan Independence Party convention, and has made no effort to disavow the party and its radical agenda.

    Obama and blind ambition??

You've got to be kidding. McCain just needs to look in the mirror at himself and then his running mate if he wants to see blind ambition. McCain is so fixated on winning this election for his own edification that he sees nothing else.

McCain and Palin and all of their hate filled cronies and supporters need to get a grip. The only way you can win is by dividing and spreading hatred. Is that really what the country wants? Maybe you do, but I definately don't.

Desperate... McCain and Palin have little else to sell. When you see something like this you ask yourself, ..."if someone is so desperate to use trival antics like this, what makes them any different than Bush and Cheney". I voted for Bush...it was the worst mistake I ever made in supporting someone I believed in politics. I can't see myself voting for someone who will stoop so low to use anything to stay alive. Its worst than a baby rapist.

Bad judgment? Who is the one with bad judgment? If the lies continue it will show that McCain is the one with the bad judgment. The United States is falling apart and all McCain can say is Obama has made bad judgment. McCain needs to do a back ground check on himself and see who has bad judgment.

Seems to me McCain is grasping at straws at this point. Time to read the writing on the wall, John, and fade away gracefully, not with such venom. This anger does not become you, it is diminishing your place in history, making you look like a bitter old man. As to his wife-get along home, Cindy, Cindy, no First Lady in my eyes.

Lordy, Lordy! What this country has come to. This is far from being the AMERICAN WAY. We should be ashamed of ourselves. This is not AMERICA. I hope the world understands that those Rep. jerks don't speak for America. Shameful and disgraceful republicans who do nothing than asking us to BRACE as our country is going down. McSame should be ashamed of himself.

Both Obama and Ayers served on the Annenberg Foundation board. Isn't Mrs. Annenberg a major bundler, fundraiser for McCain? How come that is not brought up to the McCain campaign?
I would challenge anyone to find one person involved in the support of education in Chicago (especially involved with Annenberg) who doesn't know William Ayers.
Annenberg's widow just endorsed John McCain over the weekend. She thought Ayers was a stand up enough person to allow him to serve on the Annenberg board.
Does that make Annenberg a terrorist, too? And therefore John McCain is a terrorist as well??
