Obama's 'blind ambition' targeted

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/10/10/art.mccainad.cnn.jpg caption="The McCain campaign is targeting Obama's connection to Ayers in a new ad."](CNN) - John McCain is continuing his effort to associate Barack Obama with 1960's radical William Ayers, launching a national campaign ad Friday that accuses the Illinois senator of "blind ambition."

"Obama's blind ambition. When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition. Bad judgment," the ad's narrator says.

Watch: Don't trust a 'Chicago politician' McCain says

Congressional liberals fought for risky sub-prime loans. Congressional liberals fought against more regulation," the narrator continues. "Then, the housing market collapsed costing you billions. In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment."

Watch: The latest McCain campaign ad targets Obama's 'bind ambition'

The spot is the latest in a series of attempts by the Arizona senator’s campaign to raise questions about Obama's past ,and portray the Democratic presidential nominee as less than candid about his political origins.

Obama's blind ambition??? The only blindness here is McCain's inability to "see" voters want answers, real answers, not personality attacks. Our economy is in the tank and McCain's "blind ambition" has prevented him from addressing this issue.

Please go on rollingstone.com and click on "Make Believe Maverick" and read about the real McCain. This should change the minds of the McCain believers and soldify the Oboma voters.

This is the wallpaper that lines the walls of the long ditch McBush is heading down. It will get uglier, he will become more angry as he realizes he's coming to the bottom of the ditch.
We hope he enjoys the slide!!! And may "THAT WOMAN" be be waiting for him when he lands!

L-A-M-E and D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-E! McCain't/Failin' Palin have nothing left so they fire blanks. Just like all their blanks and absentia when it comes to policy, plans or solutions for the overwhelming problems this country faces.

They can run misleading ads, they can pursue the politics of anything goes. It will not work. Not this time. I think that folks are looking for something different this time. It's easy to rile up a crowd, nothing's easier than riling up a crowd by stoking anger and division. But that's not what we need right now in the United States. The times are too serious

Nothing but a new attempt to keep yapping about nothing. It's all getting so dull and predictable. I hardly read them anymore.

Watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC at 4:00 eastern time & again at 6:00 eastern time. It's the only news show on television that states the facts about McCain's & Palin's lies on a daily basis. Olbermann also discusses McCains & Palin's terrorist links.

Seriously McSame? You have 25 days to go, and have 7 points to make up. The weekend is here and on Monday you will have 22 days until election day. And for a WEEK now you've been pushing the non story Obama-Ayers issue that has brought you no movement in the polls and next to nobody caring about it. Oh yeah the economy is tanking and YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT WILLIAM AYERS. No wonder you're losing badly. Go Obama.

  12. We're NOT "your friends"!!!

Talk about a totally clueless old man. He wants to focus on things that have already been part of the focus during the Dem. primary. 95% of people in this country are talking about the economy, not Obama's "suposed" radical friends. Your going down McBush, Obama's gonna wipe the floor with you and the rest of your repugnant friends!

Nothing positive to say about yourself so you resort to lying, embellishing and trying to tear the other guy down to your level. Not a leadership style that I am interested in!!!

I'm sorry – how come NONE of this was brought up BEFORE McCain was behind in the polls?? This just REEKS of desperation.

You'd think from listening to the McCain ads that Ayers was godfather to Obama's kids. Obama was a kid when Ayers was doing his thing. As an adult, they served on a couple of boards. NUMEROUS media outlets have researched the story and found the two were not close. End of story. Well, except if you're John McCain and fresh out of ideas of your own – except that government buying mortgage idea that your own faithful are trashing you on – and all you can do is swing blindly at your opponent. Is Karl Rove really running McCain's show as Rolling Stone suggests?

John McCain seems to have lost his bearing. Desperation is not a good look for any presidential candidate. Some people just refuse to lose with dignity.

YOu know what amazes me, Obama worked on this baord with Republicans as well...this tells me that Obama does not go around looking for people's faults..he is willing to work with people who will offere themselves to a good cause. McCain on the other hand doesn't see the good..that probably why he left his first wife who patiently waited for him and then dumped her because she became disfigured. May God give her justice she deserves...

If the RNC, McCain and Palin do not shut their mouths they should be arrested on charges of inciting a riot.

They should share their cells with their loudmouth uneducated redneck supporters who should also be arrested for intention to commit hate crimes and violence.

What that campaign, that soiled brat shell of a man, and that retarded Alaskan women are doing is the most disgusting thing that I've ever had to witness since the Republican's turned their backs on poor Katrina victims.

Unfortunately, Palin and Cindy are the "blind (blonde ambition)" folks in this campaign. The level of ugliness, fear mongering and negativity at their rallies have totally turned me off. Obama is sticking to the issues and that is leadership. Repubs have lost my vote.

I read a liberal's statement yesterday on this site...and I agree with it..."why should the truth about something be held back from being written, McCain supporters?"

Now, I ask the same question to liberals. Anything that is brought up against your "Messiah" that is in fact the truth, you scream "McCain's an angry old man". You honestly can't handle the truth, and continue to rely on the media bias to perpetuate your so-called cause. If you actually did research on Obama, you'd understand...but you won't!

Oh that's just too funny. This coming from a senile old man who sold out his principles and his raging idiot sidekick who is using the opportunity to make her own ethics problems "go away". Both will be ugly memories in a few weeks.
