McCain's last stand at final debate?

WASHINGTON (CNN) - The third and final presidential debate is shaping up to be a make-or-break appearance for both Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama, one of the last chances to get their message out to undecided voters.
The debate, taking place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, begins at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday and will be aired live on CNN and CNN.com.
The 90-minute face-off will undoubtedly focus on the economic crisis plaguing the country. And unlike at the other two debates, the candidates will sit at a table facing one another.
CBS News' Bob Schieffer, host of "Face the Nation," will moderate the debate and told The Associated Press on Sunday that he will be seeking more on what each will bring to the presidency.

I hope McCain gets his Christmas Present to bring Ayers into the economy.
You wish. CNN is starting to believe it's own propaganda. It has effectively turned it's blogs into an All Hail King Obama. Don't count the votes before they're hatched. American's know a salesman when they see and hear one.

When we look back these debates in the future, do you know what will be remembered about them? An old John McCain shuffling back and forth across the stage, trying to make one last stand for his old style dirty republican politics. McCain had his chance in 2000. He came out of that campaign as something else entirely. Couple that with economic times that are way out of his grasp (and Palin!?!?) and you have yourself a Republican defeated in 2008.

It is so amazing that when one is backed into a corner how they would pull out all of the stops. McCain/Palin are trying to discredit Obama. It is a same that you guys to to revert to this. McCain needs to be figuring out what he is going to do with Barbie and her legal issues in Alaska. Alaska don't want her back since she has shame their town. McCain has a lot on his plate he needs to think about.

He'll get trounced, as he deserves. Then, perhaps, we can be done with the lying, fear mongering, disgusting ticket and their equally hideous supporters for a peaceful eight years!
Too little, too late. At this point, all he can do is try to hold on to whatever is left of his honor and reputation.
Anyone who is undecided at this point in the election is an obvious boob and will be watching a rerun of the Simpsons – not the debate.
I am not sure McCain can do anything to change the tide. If he comes across as hostile, attacking, angry, "bitter," he will loose.
