McCain aide: Palin 'going rogue'

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) - With 10 days to go until election day, long brewing tension between Sarah Palin and key aides to John McCain has become so intense, it is spilling out into the public.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue” recently, while a Palin associate says she is simply trying to “bust free” of what she believes was a mishandled roll-out that damaged her.

McCain sources point to several incidents where Palin has gone off message, and privately wonder if they were deliberate. For example: labeling robo calls “irritating,” even as the campaign was defending the use of them and telling reporters she disagreed with the campaigns controversial decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source tells CNN she appears to now be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

McCain did call her his soul mate. They are two of a kind, unfortunately neither plays well with others.

John McCain & Sarah Palin are not trustworthy just like President Bush & Vice President Cheney.

Sarsh Palin used campaign contributions — part of it government campaign funding — to buy $150,000 of designer fashions and baby clothes at New York's fanciest department stores — Neiman Marcus ($75,062.63 in one shopping spree), Saks Fifth Avenue ($49,425.74), and Bloomingdales (a mere $5,102.71). That doesn't count the $4,716.49 she spent on hair and makeup in September alone. Baby Trig got a mere $295.00 at Pacifier and Steiniauf and Stroller, Inc.

We DON'T want her as VP otherwise she would continue to have wild shopping spree with OUR taxpayers money. She is NUTS.

What do you expect? If you look at her political history, she ALWAYS steps on her mentor's head to grab the next rung on the political ladder. It was only a matter of time before she threw McCain under the Straight talk Express.

HAHAHAHA!! McLame's VP choice is trying to take over and be the President instead! LOL! This is what happens when you have a couple of liars and cutthroats, you can't turn your back on each other or you'll get shanked. No harmony in the McCain camp? How can that be? 🙂

"She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone" – Perfect! She's the ideal candidate to follow in the footsteps of Bush, Cheney and Rove in their ignore-the-public-do-what-the-hell-I-feel-like style. Is it any wonder that the GOB (Grand Old Borg) machine picked her to partner McCain?

I still think this is Bush-Cheney-Rove's punishment for McCain for the days when he still had ethics and was a maverick. I think the next time he's forced to defend her as the Veep choice, we might just see McCain's head explode.

    Ain't it grand?
