McCain aide: Palin 'going rogue'

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) - With 10 days to go until election day, long brewing tension between Sarah Palin and key aides to John McCain has become so intense, it is spilling out into the public.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue” recently, while a Palin associate says she is simply trying to “bust free” of what she believes was a mishandled roll-out that damaged her.

McCain sources point to several incidents where Palin has gone off message, and privately wonder if they were deliberate. For example: labeling robo calls “irritating,” even as the campaign was defending the use of them and telling reporters she disagreed with the campaigns controversial decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source tells CNN she appears to now be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

She needs to be thankful to John McCain for even adding her to the ticket. She is not smart and has limited experience. How do you vote for this McCain ticket.?

Gov. Sarah Palin should apoligize to Sanator Obama for the insults she has rained on him for the last couple of weeks. To be fair, you cannot compare the intelligent of that Gov. Sarah Palin and Senator Barrack Obama. I was shock to know that Gov. Palin does not know the functions of the vice president .The position she want to occupy.

Outstanding Job Sarah Palin. You are the leader of your party. I cannot wait to see you out on your own. The GOP is really desparate to allow Sarah on her own. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next few day.

McCain really shot himself in the foot when he chose an idiot like Palin as a running mate. She's too stupid to even realize what a hindrance she is. I actually hope she does try to make a run for president in 2012; It'll ensure that Obama stays in the White House another 4 years.

This is what happens when you choose someone completely unqualified-you reap what you sow. I can only hope in 2012 or 2016 people remember what a power hungry diva she is and reject her outright if she tries to run for POTUS.

Go back to Alaska Sarah. You have done nothing but inject hate and division into this election, and you are baseless and hypocritical in your accusations.
You lack the vision, experience, and ethics to be our President. And you are one mean-spirited lady.

guess we know who the maverick is no, lol. it's not too late to swicth McCain/Palin to Palin/McCain. it won't change the outcome, but it appears that she has the energy. McCain never seems happy to be with her. he always seems irritated and his affect seems forced.

Wow!!! They really do eat their own don't they!!! Of course she doesn't trust McCain's aides, she doesn't know them, and they don't know her! Clearly, here is the reason why you don't pick a VP candidate you've only met once and spoken to twice....they will turn around and BITE YOU!!

McCain, you got what you deserved....Sarah Barracuda...the man eater

Sarah Palin "...a Diva..." who sees her self as "...the beginning and end of all wisdom." Are you kidding me?? She represents to wisdom what GWB represents to presidential popularity and competence, what Dick Cheney represents to honesty and integrity, and what Joe McCarthy represented to political and social freedom. Only one thing they all have in common...REPUBLICANS!!! Throw the bums out!!!
Vote Obama & Democratic-2008 and beyond!!!

The comment by the campaign that Palin needed to be sheltered from the press because she needed time to prepare herself for national and international issues that she was not ready to discuss and to become familiar with McCain's positions is remarkable.

When you go for a job interview, you should study your employer and prepare yourself before hand. She had months to become prepared before McCain picked her. The fact that she was not prepared to be a candidate when chosen is an indictment of her and McCain's selection process and decision. It is not an excuse.

    Oh Palin!
Not good at process questions...maybe some of my 10th grade students could help you. At least you're speaking your mind though...I'll be ecstatic come Nov 4 when I never have to hear about you again.

I only feel pity for McCain. I think this is another test result for his leadership abilities (first one being poor judgement on picking Sarah and second one over "suspending campaign") that is more impulsive than analytical.

If he is not able to provide solid leadership to set of senior strategists and a have a control on the "message", how in the world is he going to lead a nation's administration that is under a crisis of the century?

Palin really scares me. She is not clued in enough to be in the position she is in, and yet she thinks she is. This narcissistic characteristic in her is what makes me not consider a McCain vote. I don't want her any where near the white house leading the most powerful country in the world. Only God knows where he judgement would take her, and I don't want to find out. As soon as McCain picked her this undecided voter made up her mind to vote for Obama.

Another sign of how Palin was just picked on the spot. If McCain's aides can't get along with Palin, then how will that group do any better if elected to office? Also... Palin has no chance of making the national scene again after this election...

Ha! It was INEVITABLE!!! How could she resist the temptation to RUN FOR PRESIDENT - when the guy who she is supposed to be supporting is TANKING?!

This is great news for the Democrats. They could only have dreamed of a Republican party so fractured that it would descend into partisan squabbling - within its own party.

If McCain wants to reclaim a shred of integrity, he should fire her now. Of course he won't do that, meaning that he is going to suffer a terrible defeat on November 4th. Let's face it - gamblers and craps-players don't need advice. They need help. Lots and lots of help...

Why wouldn't she go alone with McShame? Who would like herself hang around a man that could be her Grandfather...Hey Sarah you said the other day in an interview that you shop at " Out of the closet" at a consignment store in Alaska to buy clothes. We have one her in Fort Lauderdale with the same thing but it is a Gay group who sells things to the poor. Like a Goodwill store is. So does this mean that you are GAY friendly? I would odds that your new hair doo was done by a GAY man..Nothing wrong with it sweetie, just don't bash us because the Republican Party is so hateful to Gays...After all we are everywhere. Police, Judges, Senators, Firemen, the list can go on and on...By the why my best friend is a Police officer and he is Gay also. I would rather him come to my home than a Shoot from the hip Rogue cop.

From U.K. When i first heard that McCain choosed Palin just to get Clintons surporters, i knew it was wrong. That was a wrong judgement. Well its all over now. Even the latest news is spreading like wild fire-150,000 dollers for clothigs, it shows they are out of touch.

The world is waiting i am waiting also to see OBAMA become the next president of the states. My prime minister is waiting also.

Palin has delusions of adequacy. However, she is inadequate in every area that counts; education, experience, discernment, instincts, political conncections. Her candle is almost extinguished. She has less gravitas than Dan Quayle. Her only base is the extreme fundamentalist wing of the GOP and their power is waining as the country turns it's attention away from wedge issues to the economy, jobs, energy, the War and our global reputation.
