McCain aide: Palin 'going rogue'

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) - With 10 days to go until election day, long brewing tension between Sarah Palin and key aides to John McCain has become so intense, it is spilling out into the public.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue” recently, while a Palin associate says she is simply trying to “bust free” of what she believes was a mishandled roll-out that damaged her.

McCain sources point to several incidents where Palin has gone off message, and privately wonder if they were deliberate. For example: labeling robo calls “irritating,” even as the campaign was defending the use of them and telling reporters she disagreed with the campaigns controversial decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source tells CNN she appears to now be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

EDUCATION OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES – FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I'm beyond perplexed how John McCain or Sarah Palin have the education or mental capacity to seriously contend in this election or run this country. Neither has a law degree. Barack Obama and Joe Biden both have graduated from Law School.

Not since 1964 has a major party ticket had a President and/or VP candidate with no legal education!!! Lets get out the ignorance vote people!!! At least Johnson was a humble man about his background and Humphrey had an MA in political science, and was working on his doctorate, not to mention they were incumbents!

The only president to have served that graduated from the US Naval Academy was Jimmy Carter, who ranked with an honorable, distinguished, exemplary 59 out of 820. Not a bold, horrendous, dispicable, embarrasing 894 out of 899 like John McCain! You are the weakest link! Goodbye! And as for Sarah Palin, 5 colleges later she managed to graduate with a BS in communications! That trully is BS! What a disgrace to the GOP this is !!!

Furthermore, it has not been since 1884 that a major party ticket has not had a Presidential or VP candidate that neither had an advanced degree of some kind, in this case James Blaine and John Logan, also Republicans, who lost to Grover Cleveland. John McCain and Sarah Palin will trully bring education back to what it was 124 years ago, but they will lose like their Republican Predecessors in 1884!!!!!

Despite promises and legal guidance not to talk directly with potential bidders, Palin had meetings or phone calls with nearly every major candidate, including TransCanada.
_The leader of Palin's pipeline team had been a partner at a lobbying firm where she worked on behalf of a TransCanada subsidiary. Also, that woman's former business partner at the lobbying firm was TransCanada's lead private lobbyist on the pipeline deal, interacting with legislators in the weeks before the vote to grant TransCanada the contract. Plus, a former TransCanada executive served as an outside consultant to Palin's pipeline team.

McCain has been around long enough to know that picking a save VP is usually the best way to go. All the McCain gimmicks have been fake, from Sarah Palin to Joe the fake plumber to McCain worker attacked by Black man........and now things are blowing up in their faces.

This is the non-leadership that we need. They're acting all 'mavericky' out there on the campaign trail. Finally they admit that she had no prior knowledge about domestic and international issues. The public knew that and had she admitted it maybe it would have been overlooked... IT became evident that she was uniformed and was trying to bluff her way through the whole thing. When we look at the way she words her sentences it's also evident that she doesn't read any periodicals.. However GOOD RIDDANCE I hope I see a public brawl before the weekend is out... lol

It's amazing that people and the Mccain campaign are making a big deal of Joe Biden's "test " comments.
Firstly, they are not quoting him in context (the full quote is very complimentary of Obama and he said Obama would be ready and has a spine of steel ) and secondly Joe Lieberman said exactly the same thing in an interview that within a few months John McCain would be tested and that McCain would be equal to it.

She was always for herself and no one else. All Palin cares for is power and the more the better she likes it. God help America if this woman ever gets anywhere near the Oval Office. It would be the end of America as we know it.

That is not going to change a thing about her neo-con views that cater mostly to the republican base and limited to a fringe of the republican party.

The repubs probably wish Nov. 4th never come but they will have to face the music for the hard time America is facing right now.

    I see a landslide coming for O/B 08/12.

    Should this surprise anyone?

Palin, the beauty-queen, newscaster, mayor, governor, VP candidate can remake herself faster than Madonna, and like Madonna (probably the only similarity!), she knows how to keep herself in the public eye and is gonna do it, come hell or high water.

Let's hope Todd has good mothering instincts, because if Sarah needs to shed the rest of the gang on the way up, well, you betcha' that's the way the cookie is gonna crumble.

Mrs. Palin calling from a 7-11 parking lot is still insisting that the signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars should be imminent.

    Hopefully, McCain,72, will retire now.

    Hahahahahahaha...oh this is too funny.

I've said since they introduced her that she is just like 'Karen Walker' from Will and Grace. Sounds like her, sense of self entitlement like her, no comprehension of reality like her....

(My apologies to Megan Mullally but she DID portray Karen Walker well.)

Not that we didnt know she was the wicked witch of the west to begin with. Just what we need a heartbeat away from the presidency. A power hungry diva who is too dumb to realize she is dumb.

If McCain had asked me, I could have told him about a week after his selection, that Palin is much more interested in her career as a politician than his. He needs to take care of that 'knife in the back' cause she doesn't appear to be the kind of perso who would hesitate to stick it in. She also has that husband of hers to do the dirty work. Can you say 'Troopergate'?

Well, Well, you shall reap what you sow.... think of a flat line monitor
and this McCain choice for VP raising her hand to take the oath of
office to become President of the United States of America..

If that doesn't give you somber sobering thoughts then your thinking
    leaves much to be desired...

This is just one more sign that they are not fit to hold the highest offices in this country.

Palin should be thanking McCain for even bringing her name to the attention of the national media. Without him she wouldn't have her pricey Nieman Marcus wardrobe.

I voted early-trying to make Indiana blue!
