CNN Electoral Map update: McCain loses ground

(CNN) - Some tough news for John McCain in his own backyard, as his home state of Arizona moves from “safe McCain” to “lean McCain” in the latest CNN poll of polls.
And the Republican nominee continues to lose ground in reliably-red areas, as North Dakota moves from “lean McCain” to “toss-up” – meaning three electoral votes that had been counted for McCain are now considered up for grabs.
But there’s some good news for McCain down south: Louisiana has moved from “lean McCain” to “safe McCain.” And the movement on the map is far from done.
Barack Obama now leads McCain by 131 electoral votes, up from his 128-vote lead yesterday. CNN now estimates that if the presidential election were held today, Obama would win 291 electoral votes and John McCain 160. There are 87 electoral votes up for grabs. Again, 270 electoral votes are needed to win the White House.
The CNN Electoral Map is based on analysis from the CNN Political Unit and takes into account a number of factors, including polling, state voting trends, ad spending patterns, candidate visits, and guidance from the campaigns, parties, and political strategists. The list will be updated regularly as the campaign develops over time.

Team McCain has lost the election. So what do they do? They plan to muddy the waters by spending all their remaining resources to post every vicious attack ad and smear over the next 5 days. Instead of trying to make he country better, they will make it more difficult for a new Congress and a new Administration to bring to nation together and rebuild.
Shame on you John McCain and all that follow you for not holding you accountable.
I think that North Carolina can be moved to "Lean Obama"...Hopefully by Monday , Ohio should be lean Obama by Monday also . This should be getting good by around 11:30 P.M. Tuesday Nov. 4th. !!!

Sarah Palin is already showing signs of putting in her bid for 2012.
Joe the Plumber was recently a no-show at a McCain rally.
Add the fact that key Republicans are beginning to endorse Obama.
And now even AZ may be turning against McCAin.
These are all troubling signs for the GOP.
I'm just waiting for the day when FOX news gives Barack a ringing endorsment.......
He's lost more than ground. He's lost his marbles (not just his bearings). Anyone that would have the BAD judgment to pick a ditz like palin ought to be locked up in a mental institution. HE'S gone crazy. Dementia? Strokes? Senility? Alzheimers? His left eye looks funny – it seems to be getting worse.
God help us all if this man gets anywhere near the white house.

No one should be surprised about this. McCain has run a campaign that lacked a message and direction. The best he's been able to come up with are disjointed and nononsensical attacks aimed at Obama.

FYI – I just found out that many, many republicans on my job also voted for Obama. We just couldn't see Palin in the White House.

CNN MAP: I have a question. You just turned LA solid red and McCain is leading there by 7. Why then are the states of Maine, Michigan, etc. still light blue for Obama? He's up 21 in Maine and at least 12 in Michigan. I don't understand this at all.
Something about this whole deal smells. It smells bad.
