McCain to appear on SNL this weekend

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNN) - Mandatory stops on the GOP campaign trail this year: Pennsylvania. Florida. Saturday Night Live.
Two weeks after running mate Sarah Palin made an appearance on the late-night comedy show, a McCain campaign aide tells CNN that the Republican presidential nominee will appear on the NBC program tomorrow night.
The Arizona senator has appeared on the show several times over the years.
McCain's most memorable appearance on the long running show was in October 2002, when he hosted the program for a night: In a spoof commercial hawking an album called "McCain Sings Streisand," sang several of the Democratic loyalist's songs.

My wife and I combined make about 100K. We no longer have dependents, and we have a mortgage. Popped those numbers into his calculator – I save $1800.
So let's see… averaged out, me and my wife each get a raise of 42 cents an hour.

Mr McCain seems so desperate in his desire to be president,that he has shifted his position more since 2000 than a greased pig. He lies, abandons a wife of 15yrs, after she is no longer the swimsuit model due to a horrify auto crash, and in 1 month marry a rich heiress, hook up with Keating, mad at Bush after 2000, best friends with Bush 90% of the time, now he don't know Bush in 2008. What's even more insulting Steve is that SNL continues to show and seemingly push McCain and Palin. I will no longer watch that program. If enough people boycotted them they would know it was wrong to even "LOOK" as if they were taking sides. Yes it's enjoyable to watch them ake fun of candidates but to have them on the show and brought to light so much is sickening. Her mother had to tie a pork chop around her neck so the dog would play with her. If she traveled around the world she's so ugly she would scare the other leaders so bad they would run and hide. I will certainly tune into see this Must See event. Either way, the die is cast and McPalin characters without real character will go into the dust bin with the rest of the sleazos who thought that they could lead a nation with the support of the fringe only.

The new GOP will either rebuild so that some of us might come back, or be reduced to the "limbaugh" party (Limbaugh et all call moderates and indie voters the "liberals in waiting) in which case they can angrily feel marginalized by the left when it was THEM who marginalized themselves, putting their narrow interests above the interests of the majority of Americans.
These people are obviously desperate! Palin's appearance on CNN this morning, with her pregnant daughter holding her Down's syndrome baby brother dressed in a Dumbo suit is just one more example of how much they don't get it. And why aren't those kids in school anyway? I doubt they're getting any smarter following her around the country.

Much has been made of what the world will do after the election to test the new president. The world is watching now. Barack has shown himself to be steady, calm, decisive, and willing to listen to other people's ideas. John McCain has shown quite the opposite. The world is depending on American's to elect a world leader. Not a petty, selfish, angry, divisive man; whose campaign has focused on turning American against American.

Obama puts out a 30 minute ad on major networks. You get Larry King. Obama gets a spot on the Daily Show. You get a bit role on SNL.

McCain still has not uttered a word of intelleigent speak on what his plan is for the economy. "Cut taxes and hope for the best" just doesn't work. It may have worked if we weren't in such huge debt but we are. If by chance the wall street welfare program works what will have happened to medicare and social security by then.
McCain has zero plan but he is good at lies and promoting false negative attacks. Age wasn't a factor in my decision for this election but when he picked a pom pom girl for VP now age is a factor. McCain is simply a bad cjhoice no matter how you look at it with intelligent eyes. I am glad to see that the eductaed of Arizona have seen enough.
