YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNN) - Mandatory stops on the GOP campaign trail this year: Pennsylvania. Florida. Saturday Night Live.
Two weeks after running mate Sarah Palin made an appearance on the late-night comedy show, a McCain campaign aide tells CNN that the Republican presidential nominee will appear on the NBC program tomorrow night.
The Arizona senator has appeared on the show several times over the years.
McCain's most memorable appearance on the long running show was in October 2002, when he hosted the program for a night: In a spoof commercial hawking an album called "McCain Sings Streisand," sang several of the Democratic loyalist's songs.
Oops...I meant mn voter....ur cool linda..sorry..
I won't be watching SNL anymore.
why hasn't SNL had Biden or Obama on recently. I know we have all enjoyed the Palin-Fey stuff, but whatever ever happened to equal air time (that is free airtime-McCain can't afford it unless its free).
Introducing( drum roll) the three pumpkin heads for halloween SarahPalin, John McCain and Cindy McShame McCain. Happy halloween to all of the Witches. Go away and never come back na ya hear, He Haw!!
Win Obama Win 08........................................................................
I hope he is going on there to give his farewell speak. It would be an appropriate way and place to do it. he and his pitbull in lipstick (her words) have run a smear campaign full of lies. but it seems to be the republican way. they are fear and war mongers.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008/2012
to the minnesota voter, that was just rude to write that about mrs. obama, at least she isn't a pill popping, husband stealing, lying character like Mccain's wife. Oh wait, but that is the values of the republican party isnt it.
well he is a joke.
To Mn voter: Your response is typical of Republican tactics. Ignore the issues and resort to personal attacks.
Sad state of affairs for SNL. It used to be a place for satire of political figures, – where even the then-President Gerald Ford would make an appearance and STILL be made fun of to the point everyone thought it made him look ridiculous.
Now it's a place for polticians to advertise their "fun-loving, I can take a joke, so I'm better than my opponent" abilities, with writers afraid that if they say anything bad about someone they'll end up not working in the business.
Then again, SNL has been afraid of celebrities for years now, so it's no wonder they're willing to be let the Republicans run rampant on the show. After spending so much time praising Hillary and trying to make Obama look bad, it's not surprising.
If standidng up to your party is the criteria for President, then Ron Paul should be king of the world...........
It is fitting that he will spend the last Sat. of the campaign on SNL. His entire campaign has been one big joke and maybe he can make us laugh for a little while to forget the mess he and is party has given us.
Great to see John McCain reaching across the aisle! This is what is so great about this man! He cares! He is a real American!

I have 2 words for you SORE LOSER.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008/2012
Well, if his SNL appearance actually swings some voters his way that says a lot about the mentality of those voters. Vote for the funny guy? That makes a lot of sense..not!
Four more days and we can finally start to put the Republican Nightmare behind us and move into the future!
GOBAMA!
Hopefully this will be the forum in which the old geezer can do his swan song.
OBAMA/BIDEN ALL THE WAY!!
well you people should remember how Mr. bush gaffe and the stupid words uttered by him made him very famous, actually it workded for his advantage, remember, No wonder the republican would like to bring Joe the MAMA or Boe the drama because they think it is the same stupid crowd they are catering for, that's how they see you people, stupid stupid bozzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooooooo
To "Concerned in MA" Since $1800 is such an insignificant sum to you perhaps next year you should tell your employer that instead of giving you a raise next year he should take that money and plow it back into his company so it can create additional jobs since you'd simply waste it on cheese pizzas.
Was really hoping to see Obama on SNL or even Joe Biden who hasn't been on yet. All the same, it'll be fun to watch McCain as he was very funny when he visited snl earlier this year. Even though Palin is a stupid choice, I wish him well.
I still plan to vote for Obama. He has a steady hand that has earned my respect and the respect of the world. He will be a wise leader that finally! will bring generations x, y and z (remember us?) into active involvement.
Obama is a modern president for a modern world. I cannot wait to vote!
calm down mark, everyone who follows this blog knows your a mccain guy.
republicans should not try satire and deception, it doesn't work for you. it leads to carving B's in your face backwards ina mirror.
MN Voter writes
"Mrs. obama is to ugly to be first lady. Her mother had to tie a pork chop around her neck so the dog would play with her."
Behold the new GOP as illustrated by MN Voter's remark. This is the newest member of what I referred to earlier as the Libaugh Party.
Take a bow MN. You won the prize for "best in show" representing the new "values" voters.
As Gahndi says:
"I like your Christ
I don't like your Christians
Your Christians are nothing like your Christ"
this election is so important...we just can not afford John McCain, his army of lobbyist, his poor pick of VP, his Rove politics, his lies or his incompetence. John McCain had a three month head start on Obama, why is he soooo behind? because America is smarter now than we were in 2000
Mn voter,
decision are not taken with beauty, but intelligence. What good does it do to Palin? She is the laugh of the whole world for how stupid and incoherent she is
*yawn*
Obama supporters are terrified that McCain will win. They talk so much, but don't understand the McCain supporters do less talking and more action. The surprise will come Tues. Like Obama supporters there's a lot of new registrations to vote for McCain. My household is an example. Just like their starved for Obama, others don't want anything to do with him. His promises are just promises...
