YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNN) - Mandatory stops on the GOP campaign trail this year: Pennsylvania. Florida. Saturday Night Live.

Two weeks after running mate Sarah Palin made an appearance on the late-night comedy show, a McCain campaign aide tells CNN that the Republican presidential nominee will appear on the NBC program tomorrow night.

The Arizona senator has appeared on the show several times over the years.

McCain's most memorable appearance on the long running show was in October 2002, when he hosted the program for a night: In a spoof commercial hawking an album called "McCain Sings Streisand," sang several of the Democratic loyalist's songs.

Obama is definitely the favorite presidental candidate amongst the American people that the McCain campaign is using him in their ads. CNN, your guy will lose no matter how hard you tried to make Obama look bad, he will be victorius. Go OBAMA - POTUS.

Maybe hhe can take that time to explain his relationship with Rashid Khalidi to the public. Let the public know exactly how many hundreds of thousands of dollars he donated to the PLO...

Concerned in MA, I wonder who lost the 42 cents an hour so you could have it? Obama's plan being socialistic and all. If you benefited from the "spread," where did it come from? Cindy's piggy bank?

Didn't SNL start out trying to be an outlet for what was "in" with its targeted demo of young people? This choice is the equivalent of starting out in 1975 not with George Carlin and Richard Pryor but with Rich Little and Jerry Lewis.

SNL is not a news organization and seem to be thinking a little too highly of its own role by playing "fair and balanced". Can't recall them finding it necessary to let Ford come on and disprove Chase's riff or have Bush counter Will Ferrell.

Your job is to poke fun at the establishment, not be a part of it.

McCain can't win at all . Yes he brought along a very attractive woman, but you can't win by looks alone. The American people are smarter. You can no longer fool them using the republican fear tactic or Joe the fake plumber. They are literally hungry and angry. Try honesty and one thing you will do concrete to make it better people who are hurting.

    Mark,

Did you see dead people in florida voting for republican, go and check. repubs are famous in stealing elections by cheating, when we press Obama on the machine count it as McCain.

All McCain has to do is use his lines when introducing "Joe the Plumber" on the stump "great american, hero, etc...", that should get him a lot of laughs.

McCain has become a joke. I never thought of him much as a war hero, since he chose to disregard military protocol and got caught. I think his 30 years in the Senate with really nothing to show for it speaks for itself.

So, yes, go on SNL Senator, make it memorable.

I love it. More hypocrisy. Blathering about how Obama hangs with hollywood types and lambasting him for having a scheduled SNL appearance, which he ended up cancelling, then both Palin and McCain actually go on the show. Be gone ye vile ghouls.

Wow...the Repubs are getting nastier and nastier as the days tick by. Mark is simply "out of touch" like his candidate. "Concerned in MA" is griping because he will get $1800 back. My wife and I are teachers with two teenagers...we'd LOVE to have $1800 rather than give it to rich corporate CEO's. All you Repubs had nothing to say in 2000 when W. stole the election from Gore...but MAN are you scared you might actually LOSE this year and EVERYONE is watching to make sure you don't cheat again!

This white, Christian, male, registered Republican, voted for "THAT ONE" early last week in FLORIDA.

Lawrence, I think you're the one who needs an education. You misspelled quite a few words there, buddy. Try taking off the Caps Lock, too. It should be on the left side of your keyboard.

Does "concerned in MA" inferr that voting for McCain is a way of
insuring that one has a job. Pretty irrational reasoning for a
    sane person.

CNN is showing Palin spewing her lies right now. So pathetic.
She just said the Maverick took on " abuse of Power".
Oh yeah, took her on to be his VP candidate.
Same old speech, different $150000.00 costume.

  22. GIVE PEACE A CHANCE, VOTE A STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC TICKET!

I am listening to missy online.

I have made this offer before, but with 4 days left, I will offer again since she is making my eardrums bleed.

I would like to offer that you run a telethon, I will promise that you can lock me in a "cone of silence" and run "Head On" commercials 24 hours a day, until folks donate enough coins so that you can only use closed captioning anytime the half-wit opens her pie hole.

    Deal?
