My first comment ever. I'm proud to be a part of this historic moment. Regardless of your affiliation, your beliefs, or your position in this country, i wish you all the best and hope that we can all come together to be better than we have been and more than just individuals who live under the same flag.

i went to my local polling place and i have actually seen people there i KNOW have been in trouble BIG TIME trouble with the law

i was wondering if ANYONE took the time to check these or ANY ot these " first time voters " out..i have no idea if they are convicted felons or not but i DO know they have been in prison...

is there any way to do a background check on these people who would slip through the cracks and VOTE even when this right had been taken away from them ??
seems very unfair...all they needed to do was sign a form LYING about their past to get registered to vote for the most important office in the USA....
