GOP official says it's over for McCain

(CNN) - The Ohio loss is a crushing blow to McCain. A senior-level GOP official tells me it's over. He's done.

There is no way he can win without Ohio, that was his last hope.

I hope and pray that none of your loved ones are caught in the coming attacks that will surely happen on American Soil now that we have elected a weak leader as head of what was once the greatest country in the world.

Hi Tara; I hope you write back-I'm a registered Democrat, but I never vote straight party...Obama got my vote because of his attitude toward the current economic conditions. Was it "the lesser of two evils'? Maybe, but looking at the big picture, the economy (and each candidate's view of it) was, to me, the most important issue. Thanks for reading this, and I think with McCain missing Ohio-it's gonna be tough! see ya on CNN.

    The people have spoken,

Good bye McCain! Time for you to settle into your twilight years enjoy your 20 houses, and enjoy the fact that you can pay all of your mortgages, never have to worry about your next meal, your retirement check or how you will send your kids to college...Life is still very fair for you.

Good bye Sarah Palin, so glad you will not be close to my Constitution, back to moose-country with your tail! You were an insult and a pathetic, scary joke! It's important to admit at some point when you are in over your head...

I'm going to bed now to rest more peacefully than I have in a long time!

It is so amazing to watch such a positive campaign and candidate win and to watch such a negative, divisive, hateful campaign and candidates loose – and loose badly. Hopefully, democrats and republicans will learn from this election and future campaigns will be run on issues and not on innuendos.

Obama won this election due to a sexist media and a sexist country. He neither earned nor deserved it. Welcome to the "as-if" President.

Get ready... the next four years are going to be rough. If anyone thinks republicans are going to just roll over and be the portrait of cooperation and support they are dead wrong. Obama stands for everything they hate and fear and they are not going to let us forget it.

  22. GIVE PEACE A CHANCE, VOTE A STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC TICKET!

Finally, McCrypt and I agree on one point, we both have Obama "right where we want him"!!!

There are a some of words I hope to never hear again."surge", "maverick","pork", "PUMA", and any word ending in "ing" where the "G" is not pronounced!

And I will start a petition to ban the use of these two words in conjuntion, "my" and "friends"!

A personal request, to the Reptilian Party, please run what's her name again in 2012.

    Pretty please!

Also, someone notify the half-wit that “God’s will has been done” for America!!!

Bush dug this grave for McCain, just like Clinton did for Gore. When they talk about smug Americans, they talked about Bush, he was an absolute disgusting president who ruled with secrecy. Even his own Sec of State, Powell denounced McCain and went with Obama, that was a coup for Obama, as personally I don't think Obama has a clue but the world was fed up with "The Shadow Man" george Bush. Let's hope Obama gets a clue real quick
