Palin calls attacks 'cruel' and 'cowardly'

Sarah Palin called former aides of Sen. John McCain "jerks" for circulating unflattering stories about her since the Republican ticket lost its bid for the White House Tuesday.
The stories, which have been attributed to unnamed sources within the McCain campaign, include claims that Palin did not know Africa was a continent instead of a country, or which countries are part of the North American Free Trade Agreement, despite touting her familiarity with neighboring Canada.
Speaking with CNN's Gary Tuchman after returning to Alaska, Palin speculated those stories may have originated with campaign staffers who helped her prepare for her debate with Democratic Vice President-elect Joe Biden.

Although it doesn't surprise me about the things Palin does not know. It is cowardly to defame someone behind their backs. But then, it came from GOP sources, that has been and is their modus operandi all this time. Now, the lion is eating its young. Observers, stay clear of the carnage!

Sarah Palin has an amazing effect on a lot of men-–they all want her so badly, and since they know they can't have her, they choose to attack and demean her as a way of getting even. Keith Olbermann fits that category very well.

The fact that the race is over and there is still bickering going on makes me wonder what was going during the election. The race is over quit crying about spilled milk.
They are telling the truth. The fact the some people in this country were ready to accept below average for the second highest position in this country is ridiculous. Who is her Dick Cheney in Alaska? She is not governing alone.
Note, however, that she isn't really denying that these things are true.

Cowards that sabotaged the McCain campaign now playing the blame game, messing it up for ALL the rest of them, because now there are no politicians who'll want to work with ANY of them.
Dean did a good thing exposing the criminal at the White House but he was shunned after that. Nobody could trust him with their hair down. But that was justified. This is just pure spite.

They may be cowardly, in fact if they are "anonymous" then they are cowardly, however, I'm not sure they are "cruel". It may be rude and hurtful, but, as I've said for a few months now, Ms. Palin, you reap what you sow. Ms. Palin, you riled up crowds of your supporters using loaded words like terrorist and socialism. You never tried to put a stop to the obvious and disgusting displays of hatred at your rallies. You displayed to all of us the depth of your ignorance regarding world affairs, the financial crisis, the constitution, the role of the V.P., and numerous other matters. So if someone leaks information about your lack of knowledge and lack of intellectual curiosity, and it hurts your feelings, well, I'm sorry. You positioned yourself to speak for all women and you did not. In fact, you hurt us through your intolerance, religious zeal, your anti-choice stance, and your ignorance. You single handedly set women in politics back. Maybe I should put it this way, what goes around, comes around. You lashed out verbally, now you are getting your reward.
