Palin in Obama's administration?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/11/12/art.palin.sitroom.cnn.jpg caption="Wolf Blitzer sat down with Gov. Palin Wednesday in Florida. Watch the interview on Situation Room."]
MIAMI, Florida (CNN) - Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said Wednesday she would be honored to help out President-elect Barack Obama in his new administration, even if he did hang around with an "unrepentant domestic terrorist."

Watch: I will help Obama, says Palin

The Alaska governor said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer that if Obama asked her for help on some of the issues she highlighted during this year's campaign, such as energy or services for special-needs children, "It would be my honor to assist and support our new president and the new administration."

"And I speak for other Republicans and Republican governors, also," said Palin, whom Sen. John McCain tapped as his running mate in August. "They would be willing also to seize this opportunity that we have to progress this nation together, in a united front."

But asked moments later about some of the tough rhetoric she hurled from the stump, she said she was "still concerned" about Obama's ties to former Weather Underground member-turned-Chicago college professor William Ayers.

"If anybody still wants to talk about it, I will," she said. "Because this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist who had campaigned to blow up, to destroy our Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol.

"That's an association that still bothers me, and I think it's fair to still talk about it," she continued. "However the campaign is over. That chapter is closed. Now is the time to move on and make sure all of us are doing all that we can to progress this nation."

Palin was attending the annual Republican Governors Association convention in Miami, Florida. She was interviewed for CNN's "The Situation Room" - the latest of several high-profile appearances for the ex-VP candidate - and will also appear Wednesday night on CNN's "Larry King Live."

Would someone please explain to me what is wrong with this woman! Does she have any clue what an IDIOT she looks and sounds like? Is the republican party going to put up with this non-stop chatter? Listen to her talk.. she makes no sense. How long is this going to go on? She really thinks OBAMA would want her in his administration? Palin, you are a vile, liar who would do anything for your own personal and political gain. Don't you remember a 7 days ago? "we the people" said NO to you&mccain!!! Go back to Alaska.

Good grief, after all her horrid comments about Obama--why would she even consider floating the idea or think she is remotely qualified? And why would he even consider her for anything? I know all is fair in love, war and politics, and thanks– but no thanks. Perhaps if she had been more gracious and run on the issues, and not tried to instill fear and religion and race baiting, maybe. Oh wait--if she would be offered a Cabinet postiion, the confirmation hearings would be worth recording. And now she has a new wardrobe to wear to meetings...

  4. Go Away Woman!!!

The "New 3 Stooges Show: Scarah, John-John, and Simple Cindy" was cancelled on 11/4/08!!! Why won't she just go back to Alaska and continue to make them miserable? No one wants to hear from her...except in the Deep South. We surely didn't invite her to Miami....

    Scarah, GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW: "Process" is also a verb....Scarah just used the word awkwardly, as usual...

President elect Obama we the people do not need Sarah to help in putting this country back on track. She needs to tape her mouth because she keeps forgetting that her husband was/maybe still a member of a organization that no longer wants to be under the control of the UNITED STATES of America Government. Please go away

Criminally insane, geographically challenged, and a functionally illiterate compulsive liar... it's a good combination. I like Gus's suggestion... make her the press secretary.

OK, CNN, I tried to rationalize a reason for all of your Palin coverage on another thread but now I can't........stop it already!

I doubt the President-elect wants to have anything more to do with this egomaniac. She would not bring anything useful to the administration. Please just let her go back to Alaska.

No, Sarah, no one with a clue wants to talk about Bill Ayres anymore. It's more likely you are Trig's grandmother than it is that Obama "pals" around with terrorists.

there she goes again, talking outa both sides of her mouth...first she says she wants to talk about Ayers, then she says we need to move on the campaign is over, I would be honored to help the next president, but it still bothers me he actually breathed the same air at one time with this guy Ayers, but we should unite under our next president.

Palin, just shut up, and go home!

While I supported the Republican party in this year's election, I did think that she is what contributed greatly to McCain's loss. I think she needs to give up and get back into her own league. Go home, Sarah, and take care of Alaska. You really can't run with the big boys and girls.....

I don't blame Palin for all her interviews. If the Press would ignore her she might go away. Please stop interviewing her. She brings no intelligence to the conversations. Are you trying compete with SNL?

Now there's a headline that made me choke! Palin outdoes herself every day - she calls Obama unAmerican, says he 'pals around with terrorists' and lots of other ugly rhetoric, then suggests she'd be happy to work with him? Please! Why would you want to work with somebody you have those feelings about - and why would he want you?
