Congratulations indeed! Now for the business at hand. Mr. Holder, I hope you plan to set right the Justice Dept hiring practices that were politicized by the Bush Administration.

I am also seriously hoping that you plan to investigate and prosecute the wrong doings from the Bush administration; including the hijinks of Karl Rove in jailing a former Governor under trumped allegations. I also hope you are going to go after criminal investigations of the falsified informatin that was used to justify the Iraq War.

Finally, If George Bush Jr. is guilty of a conspiracy, I hope you will not shy away from throwing his sorry behind in jail.

Yes, Mr Holder, you have a tall order – Don't disappoint us: you will get my full backing if you support a government of laws.

Obama creates the illusion of change (i.e. black AG) while hiring an old Clinton appointee. No new ideas, but reliance on the Clintons. It's too late now, but I'm afraid America made a huge mistake. His empty calls for change duped so many of you.

It's so amazing to watch this new administration coming together. I think a new age of politics has been born: one in which the people are actually paying attention.

Instead of Bush's 3rd term – I guess we will now have Clinton's 3rd term. I should have just voted for Hillary. Where is the change?

On the surface, looks like a solid pick. Good to see he was a federal prosecutor and has DOJ experience under Clinton and (briefly) Bush. Eager to learn more.

What a disaster–This guy engineered the pardon of Marc Rich by the Clintons. I've forgotten how much Denise Rich had to pay Clinton for the pardon

the cuban-american community of Miami does not see this man very well because of the Ellian case (the boy who was sent back to Cuban with his father in the late 1990's).

does anyone else think the first sentence should have the word "that" after king? It just reads wierd especially on the political ticker where the paragraph margins are not wide... It reads to *me* like "...CNN’s Ed, Henry, and John, King Barack Obama has chosen Eric Holder as his nominee for Attorney General"

King Barack Obama...It has a good ring to it I think 😀 😀

I like the pick. But then again, I think a salamander would have been upgrade next to John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzalez.
