Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

This woman has to be one of the most idiotic people I have ever seen. Place go away Palin, we have real issues to deal with in this world. We would be in a world of hurt if this goofball actually got into office. She is even dumber than Bush.
CNN just can't keep this woman out of the headlines. Her 15 minutes of fame are up already guys. If she is so pro-life, why didn't she pardon the turkey. Wasn't it her who said ALL life is precious. So was the turkey some kind of sacrificial lamb Sarah?

1. If you're disgusted by turkeys being slaughtered, then stop eating them. It would do our society well to be reminded where its food comes from and how it gets there.
2. If Palin represents "real" Americans, then every stereotype of our country is true. She has so much trouble articulatnig a coherent idea.

I agree with the person who said turkeys on the table for Thanksgiving are obiously killed. I watched the interview on MSNBC and according to what was reported, she didn't mind the background and I believe they should have thought about moving the interview to a different scenery.
As for the people who believe Obama is responsible for the stock market that started to dive long before he was elected, you are as dumb as they come. The housing market, lending market, and other variables are the reasons why we are in deep trouble. Please look up the definition of a "Socialist" and understand that the Bush Administration is much closer to the definition than Obama.
