Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

What I don't understand is why we still seeing more of her than Joe Biden? Did Obama hide him already??? If so, good move on his part.
Dear God could I hate this useless bag anymore? They should put her, and all the other useless hillbillies in Alaska under the same ax that killed the turkey. Better yet, let's give the whole state to Canada with the understanding that they get the oil, but they also have to keep all the idiots that live there.
Uh, yeah...That's how it works on a turkey farm. A turkey is slaughtered, and then we eat it! What's the big issue here? It's crazy how soft our country has become. People are far to removed from reality today if this is a news worthy story...
It's funny to me that this is even considered a news worthy story. How many people on this site making comments are going to eat turkey this holiday season. How do you think it gets to the store? Maybe if we could concentrate on the economy and foregin affairs as much as people concentrating on looking for the latest Palin slip up we could get out of some of the issues we are facing that are news worthy.

Are you, the media, so afraid of Sarah Palin that you have to run this sill, derogatory story even after the election is over? Having said that, why in the world would she allow this event to be photographed and filmed where you could see the birds being killed? Its not like we dont know that is what happens, but this was such a bad choice.

My Thanksgiving dinner comes from my parent's house.
The only turkey out there is that stupit duck Palin. And I too thank God that she did not get elected. How can anyone not see this woman makes all women look like the dummy she is. She gives us all a bad name.
The best part is the guy mugging for the camera's and bloody pants..............OMG............This is rich..............She hasn't a clue of what it takes to be a VP or god forbid PRES.......She should know that the lower 48 states politician's know how to set up a photo op. Pardon turkey's that's fine but hearing them scream and seeing them killed is another.....She is use to seeing blood guts and gore from killed animals that is why she is drinking coffee and smiling.........CLUELESS.........
