Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

Executive material, my as*. Now many presidents and politicians have choosen a turkey for Thanksgiving, and then just walked away. They didn't stand there while the turkey was being slaughtered. This woman doesn't have a clue. Crazy as a betsy bug!! But what do you expect from a woman who went to 5 colleges to get a bachelors degree in journalism. MAVERICK!!
Okay, we all get the idea that meat is slaughtered then delivered to your neighborhood grocery store. HOWEVER, what government official does an interview while animals are being slaughtered in the background, and then asked if she wanted to move because of the slaughtering and says "oh no this is fine" . It's completely tasteless, and thoughtless. Gov. Palin is trash I'm sorry. She has a pregnant high school drop out, the baby daddy too, loves guzzling beer and slaughtering animals. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY she's not in the white house. What kind of female role model is she? This is no way to present yourself in front of the country..l.

Everytime Sarah Palin opens her mouth I am amazed at how unprofessional and "almost stupid" she sounds. I do not use that term lightly. In fact, I don't use it at all. Please, GOP, if you read any of these comments, think very seriously about what kind of President this woman would be for our country. She makes a "so,so mayor," "okay governor," I guess, but I don't want an "ego chasing" dingbat as my President. Let's keep her in Alaska where she can kill her game and fire those individuals who get in her way.

She was as always way too busy enjoying being the center of attention and clueless to what she sounds like and acts like. She just likes to hear herself talk and it is HER FAULT not the photogs, the media or anyone else that she winds up being the laughing stock of the Republican party! She has done several interviews since the election. She just likes to be in the media. She is just way too stupid to understand that every time she opens her mouth, she opens herself up to more criticism! No one made her take the photos and chat with the media – this was HER decision. it was also HER decision not to consider a different backdrop. She is just CLUELESS.
