Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

How embarrasing for her. She should have led the camera & reporter away from that area. I don't like Sarah Palin nor did I vote for her but this can't make her happy. A lot different from the photo ops she had while on the campaign trail. I kind of feel for sorry for her. The Republicans totally used her. She has such blind ambition that she allowed herself to be used. It is sad actually. She needs to stay in Alaska with her own people and focus on governing that state instead of trying to "fit in with the Jones." In her circle I am sure she is tops – she needs to stay there and be happy doing so.
To all you bashing Palin – what do you get if you give Palin a labotomy and drop her from the top of the ugly tree (making sure she hits every branch)? Answer: Hillary Clinton (note: it'll help if Todd loses his morals and becomes a skirt chaser).

Why is the media wasting interviews with her? Why doesn't the media move on to something that is important. Sarah Palin is not educated enough to be in charge of anything. She can not speak english well enough to interview with my 5 year old grandson.....
