Palin interview causes stir

(CNN) - It’s the ultimate holiday photo-op for any governor: the yearly pardoning of a turkey to spare it from demise days before Thanksgiving.
But former Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is causing a stir for an interview she gave after pardoning an Alaska turkey Thursday, during which one bird was being slaughtered in the background.
Palin appeared unaware of what was going on directly behind her, though she did seem to take a glance at the unfortunate event at one particular point during the interview.
"It's nice to support a local business and just participate in something that isn't so heavy handed politics that invites criticism," Palin said during the interview. "Certainly will probably invite criticism for even doing this too, but at least it was fun."
"I am always in charge of the turkey so I am where I need to be today to prepare for that," she also said.

CNN evidently forgot the election was over and abandoned their post-election balance for their knee jerk pre-election bash everything McCain/Palin policy. What a stupid story!!!! Do people think that the Turkey fairy deposits sliced turkey in the deli? The writing of the story tells us more about the author and CNN than it does about Palin.

This is no big deal but isn't it funny how this woman can't seem to do anything right. What other politician would have been caught standing in front of a slaughtered turkey at a turkey pardoning? The only people who want her to stay in the spotlight are the late night comedians.

Another fine example of the Media trying to manipulate the news. Everyone is missing the point of this interview – the NEWS CREW are the ones that set up this shoot, and picked this spot. They are the ones that have acted questionably – not Palin! Either they are complete morons for picking this location to shoot, or they are once again trying to deliberately make Sarah look bad. Shame on them, and shame on the public for not seeing where the fault lies in this event.

Give it a break CNN, are you hard up for news? You cannot honestly believe that people are so naive that they think the turkey's actually show up in the grocery store all wrapped up. Any nature loving person would know that a freshly killed fowl is the best meat you can ever eat. Give up CNN your drive by media is starting to sicken me. Why don't you report on the Obama camp and their back peddling on the second comings abilities to solve all of America's problems!

What do you think you're eating when you're eating eggs? the meat on your plate? people need to realize that this is reality and start getting over the fact that palin will be in charge of the state of Alaska not of the US (because most of you live nowhere near where she governs) and focus on more important things
